To the extent I've thought about the Ride of Steel name, and I did spend almost seven seconds on the matter, I just assumed Ride of Steel didn't violate any trademarks and allowed the park to not have to replace some signs, alter others and otherwise require as little time and expense as possible.

the tower is weird looking on the outside but it looks like a pretty neat experience, the full dark of the elevator and then the sudden reveal of being 200 feet up. stupid name though.
