Cannibal opened July 2nd! The coaster has surprising theming and a great first drop!

Ride it? Hey, I WATCHED it! On youtube! That's the only way to know how good a ride is!!!
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Seriously. Who actually rides a ride these days? :-)

I just rode it on my screen too, does that count for my track record?
Also, seems like that first drop has a rough patch, not sure that I will ride it again, gave me a bit of a headache.
Sarcasm is wasted on the young.

Wasn't worth the wait for me either. Maybe I should pay more and get a faster internet speed.

It's helpful to be able to drive there.
Not that many people can drive to Lagoon, and anyone flying there probably shouldn't have booked flights that close to a new ride opening...

Actually Koolkat1101, Cannibal opened for "Limited Guest Preview" on Thursday, June 30th. I was able to finally ride it twice on Friday, and all I can say is it's Balls to the Wall INSANE! So far, I've been on it 6 times and it just Craps all over every other coaster I've been on. It's seriously amazing!
Lagoon also posted their Cannibal Commercial to their Facebook Page as well.

All 6 times?
The trick was to surrender to the flow.

So that number is exactly 0, doesn't sound like much crapping, actually very little crap was expended by Cannibal. You would think a Cannibal would have more crap than none. Cannibals do eat you know.
Well 0 based on your track record at least...
:)
I had never heard of lagoon before Canibal was announced, and now it doesn't look that bad. Does cannibal have an elevator or vertical lift? I've always wondered.
Elevator.
Lagoon's always been cool - just *really* hard to get to. Since SFoG lost Viper over a decade ago (for S;UF, ugh)....I believe that left Lagoon as the only US park with 2 operating Schwarzkopf coasters (plus a John Miller, some really cool flats, and an absolutely amazing setting).
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
I've never been there, but it's on my bucket list. (I'm not exactly sure when it's going to appear in my tea leaves, either...) From what I know it seems to be a unique place with all the random kookiness that comes with any good traditional amusement park. The ride collection is awesome, including 2 (!) traditional dark rides. They just seem to do their own thing there, almost like a bigger version of Waldameer or maybe Kennywood.
Their website isn't the greatest, and the last I checked their park map was one of the worst, most amateur pieces of artwork I'd ever seen. So aside from photos and YouTube vids, it's kind of hard to tell much about it.
