Can you ride all the the coasters at SFMM in 1 day

Can you ride all of the coasters that are operating at SFMM ( which usually isn't Flashback ) in one day? I am planning a trip and can only be at SFMM one day. I will be going on a week day probably Monday and would also like to know what the lines are like on Monday's. One last question how long will the new B&M line probably be on a Monday?

I have everytime I have been, with the exception of my trip with Mamoosh... (he's always keeping me to himself). It isn't that hard, provided the right day, the right time, and the desire to buy some FastLane passes...:) Hit X, and Deja V first, then RR and Batman and Goliath. The rest is a piece of cake. Just remember the S:TE is always a pain in the tail wait! Have fun.:):)

What new B&M coaster? Are you talking about SFMM?

The rumored B&M for SFMM is what I'm talking about. Can you ride them all without fast lane passes.

OIC. The new B&M will probably have incredible capacity. At least most B&M's do.

I think he might be referring, prematurely, to the new coaster(?) that is coming to SFMM. It appears to be a B&M. That said, I will stop speculating. A mid week visit is always the best, but not required. I had some of my best riding on a Sunday, again with 'Moosh. The company you keep is half the battle, right Chris?

No coaster requires FastLane. It helps on certain rides, though. Always check at the counter which rides it serves before you buy it. You might not need it on the particular day you visit.

Thanks guys. I forgot one last thing though this will probbly be the 1st week in July so does that make a difference. I was at CP a Monday that same week this year and rode all of the coasters ( sorry to bring that up in a SFMM thread ) and I'm hoping it will be the same way at SFMM.
When I was there for CoasterCon in June the ratio of line lengths to day of the week was screwed up. The lines were very short on Sunday and during the week they were as long as a Saturday or Sunday back here in Ohio. I personally didn't get to ride all the coasters in one day but that was mostly due to other happenings for CC and the fact that our hotel was about 30 minutes away so we got there a little bit later than opening.

What would we all do if roller coasters became non-existent???

S:TE *could* have much better capacity, even running ONE side, IF the Mountain had a "grouper" instead of "the groper"...(a poorly lit queue house) which leads to an unusual seating configuration that virtually GUARANTEES less-than-optimal capacity and empty seats...

And if you get a chance to ride FlashBack, take an extra spin for me....I'll even buy the aspirin...;)

Yes! Especially when four of them are closed! *grumble grumble*

Model coasters and rides
As for fastpass. i have never bought one at my home park but i am thinking of buying one for sfmm as i will only be ther one day. Im going the first Sunday of Dec. and do you think a fastpass will be needed on that day to ride all the coasters??

To help you guarantee what is open that day, the answer is yes. BUT, I wouldn't pin my hopes on all the coasters being open. Heck, Ninja seemed to be down all damn summer!

I am 100% sure you can ride all the coaster at SFMM in one day. I did when I went to Cedar Point on October 12 and 13 for Halloweekends and the park was croweded. I rode MF, Mantis, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Mean Streak, Magnum XL:200 and Gemini in under 6 hours. The park closed at 12:00 P.M. on 10/12/02. Then I rode Raptor, Wicked Twister, Blue Streak, DT, and Wild cat the other 6 hours. The next day I just went on anything I could before the park closed at 8:00 P.M.

Also check the closing time at SFMM. If the park closes around 8:00 P.M. you might be able to ride all their coasters if the park is not over crowded. Overwise kiss some of their coaster goodbye.

medusafanatic:

If you're thinking about the beginning of July, that's probably one of SFMM's busiest times, even weekdays, because of the Holiday and summer vacation. IMO, it would be difficult to do all of the coasters without the use of Fast Lane, but remember not all rides use it so you need to check the list that day. It's my home park and I try to avoid it during the summer unless there's a special event I'm attending. Even if you did X first thing, and then right over to Deja Vu, you're going to have some major waits on the other big coasters (RR, Batman, Goliath) later on.

I'll be going April 20-25. Should I expect long lines on Easter. I could skip Easter if I thought the lines would be long. Also is X accepting Fast Lane anymore.

Why would you go to SFMM six days in a row?

Zierer!

Why not?

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

I rode all of the the open coasters without fastpass on a saturday in July last summer. But Ninja, Flashback, and X were closed, plus I was to tall for Goliath jr.

-----------------
84 coasters and counting

So how have the lines been this month on Saturdays? Since I am going on a Saturday(November 2nd) what should I expect?

Sean, wondering, are any buzzers going to make a trip that day ??
