Can someone please remind me how to add photos and GIFs to my post?

I think it would help my posts be more entertaining and informative if I could add GIFs and photos, but I can't remember how to do it. I tried a few was to get a GIF from Tenor to show up in my post, but I couldn't figure it out. I see others do this kind of stuff, and it really makes their posts pop.

Anyone care to give us all a refresher?

To reference an image hosted elsewhere, click the "picture" icon and enter the URL of where the image lives. To upload one, you use the up arrow and select the file. Referencing elsewhere is preferable, because then I don't have to pay for the storage. :)

Took me a few tries. I went to Tenor to add a GIF. They offer two different buttons to copy a link to the GIF. Neither of them worked here. But when I right-click, and select Copy Image Link, it works. That's the right thing to copy. Thanks for the help. I'll try not to abuse the feature.
