Can anyone give me a stategy when going to SFGAdv?
Do you have a season pass?? If so,use the season pass entrance, get there early and grab the fast lane passes for all the coasters but,i would only use this if the park is terribly crowded and you want multiple rides on the coasters. If the park isn't crowded i would skip fast pass because you can't choose your seat when you get the passes. If you don't have a season pass you can still get fastlane passes at guest relations which is to the left just as you enter the park through the main gate and, metal detectors.Medusa and Nitro are at the opposite ends of the park from each other. On the Nitro side which is the right end of the park you have the following coasters in this order...
Batman and Robin the Chiller,i really can't give a tip because only Batman side has been open.I like this ride if i don't have to wait more then a half hour for it so,hit it early when lines are minimal.
Batman The Ride,I prefer the back to the front but, alot of people like Inverteds from the front seat so,this would be your call.
Nitro.. I favor the back on this one to because there is more airtime from the back but,if your there late and can get on the front when it's dark it is cool. One other thing, when they go to put your lapbar down, slide your butt forward and push your gut out the furthest it can go so they don't lock you down so tight you can't even get a rise from the seat. The ride ops lock so tight you loose that effect and it can ruin Floater airtime for you if you let them push lapbars down to tight.
Skull Mountain.. Back seat is best here.
From here to the left side of the park is a ton of flat rides.I forgot to mention there are also two flumes between the chiller and nitro.I don't normally do flat rides so,i am sure someone else will give you another strategy and include those. If anything i am giving you coaster locations and tips :)The left side has,Runaway Train,Medusa,Viper(if it is open),Rolling thunder and,Gasm.
Tips:
Runaway train, very painful to the knees if your tall so,if you seriously want to ride this thing bring some padding for your knees, lol.

MEDUSA,take the front for the floorless effect to do anything for you but, this is an excellent ride to me either way.
VIPER,if it is open,brace yourself good,muahahaha!
ROLLING THUNDER,Enter this coaster from the left queue line to ride the left track,it is the better of the two.If you must be in the back, take the second from the back seat because it is a little easier on the kidneys then riding the very last seat, lol. If roughness doesn't bother you then by all means, grab the back seat,i do :)
GASM,alot of people take the back seat on this one but,i take the front and can ride this multiple times from the front seat.I guess the force of the air from the front seat pins you back good enough to prevent some major head banging.
As for food,i always bring my own and leave it in my car since they let you get your hand stamped so you can exit and re enter the park.I also have a souvenier cup so drink refills are $1.50.If you drink alot of fluids i would buy the cup and take the refills. There are tons of flat rides if you like those so,if you hit all the coasters in good timing there is plenty of flats to take up the rest of your time.Have fun and, i pray to the coaster gods the lines are light for you :)

The best statergy is to get there erlie and at least 1hr before the park opens. if you have a season pass you can use its entrance but if your ganna head tord movie town first its best to use the regular main entrance sinces its closer. if its a weekday ur best bet is to get Fast Pass for The chiller,Nitro,Batman the ride and G.A.S.M or Medusa but medusas line usaly moves fast so it dont matter. as for the flat rides there ok but they all have the same purpose wich is to make you dissy so thats ur call. the stunt mans freefall never has a line over 20mins so thats nuthing to worry about. oh yea and one warning if its hot outside the water rides can get very very crowded including Congo rapids and The saw mill log flume i once thougt the line for the log flume was 1hr it ended up being about 2hrs and 30mins. but i was at thew point of no return so i couldent get out the line. so basicaly what im trying to say is Head to movie town first sinces its the more popular section this year after that you can walk to the other side of the park where medusa is or take the sky ride by skull mountain. once there its best to ride medusa then work ur way over to Rolling thunder and viper if its open (before rolling thunder) then after that head to the board walk where you cna play games and ride the G.A.S.M and then after that urs done if its a weekday you would be done by abou 4pm if its a weekend prop 8pm or soon depends how fast you walk, lines eating time etc. oh yea and about food there food is way to pricy for me i just get my hand stamped and head a mile or so to mc donalds for lunch.GoodLuck and mainly have FUN!

I didn't mean to bring this topic back to the first page but,i am going to cover myself for this since ride Safety could be risked if i don't clarify how i do this.I should have said, bring the lap bar down to a secure point by lowering it slowly and leave just a "tiny" bit of room to move, please don't get the wrong idea and think that i leave it so i can get out of the seat if i wanted.I get the lapbar to a good secure point and then,i stick out my stomach and move a little forward(i have to slide my butt up a little because i don't have a big stomach to work with) to make sure the ride ops don't push down to the point where it is pressing down hard onto my legs which is what happened the first time i rode Nitro.
