Do you have a season pass?? If so,use the season pass entrance, get there early and grab the fast lane passes for all the coasters but,i would only use this if the park is terribly crowded and you want multiple rides on the coasters. If the park isn't crowded i would skip fast pass because you can't choose your seat when you get the passes. If you don't have a season pass you can still get fastlane passes at guest relations which is to the left just as you enter the park through the main gate and, metal detectors.Medusa and Nitro are at the opposite ends of the park from each other. On the Nitro side which is the right end of the park you have the following coasters in this order...
Batman and Robin the Chiller,i really can't give a tip because only Batman side has been open.I like this ride if i don't have to wait more then a half hour for it so,hit it early when lines are minimal.
Batman The Ride,I prefer the back to the front but, alot of people like Inverteds from the front seat so,this would be your call.
Nitro.. I favor the back on this one to because there is more airtime from the back but,if your there late and can get on the front when it's dark it is cool. One other thing, when they go to put your lapbar down, slide your butt forward and push your gut out the furthest it can go so they don't lock you down so tight you can't even get a rise from the seat. The ride ops lock so tight you loose that effect and it can ruin Floater airtime for you if you let them push lapbars down to tight.
Skull Mountain.. Back seat is best here.
From here to the left side of the park is a ton of flat rides.I forgot to mention there are also two flumes between the chiller and nitro.I don't normally do flat rides so,i am sure someone else will give you another strategy and include those. If anything i am giving you coaster locations and tips :)The left side has,Runaway Train,Medusa,Viper(if it is open),Rolling thunder and,Gasm.
Tips:
Runaway train, very painful to the knees if your tall so,if you seriously want to ride this thing bring some padding for your knees, lol.
MEDUSA,take the front for the floorless effect to do anything for you but, this is an excellent ride to me either way.
VIPER,if it is open,brace yourself good,muahahaha!
ROLLING THUNDER,Enter this coaster from the left queue line to ride the left track,it is the better of the two.If you must be in the back, take the second from the back seat because it is a little easier on the kidneys then riding the very last seat, lol. If roughness doesn't bother you then by all means, grab the back seat,i do :)
GASM,alot of people take the back seat on this one but,i take the front and can ride this multiple times from the front seat.I guess the force of the air from the front seat pins you back good enough to prevent some major head banging.
As for food,i always bring my own and leave it in my car since they let you get your hand stamped so you can exit and re enter the park.I also have a souvenier cup so drink refills are $1.50.If you drink alot of fluids i would buy the cup and take the refills. There are tons of flat rides if you like those so,if you hit all the coasters in good timing there is plenty of flats to take up the rest of your time.Have fun and, i pray to the coaster gods the lines are light for you :)
