Cache stalled

This really isn't a suggestion, I just need a little tech support. I can't seem to see anything new on the home page. It's like my cache is stuck from last week. The top news story is still "Shockwave at SFoT still closed after flood." but clearly there are new news stories in the new section of the site. How can I fix this. I have deleted all my coasterbuzz.com cookies, and cleared my local cache. I have also done several deep refreshes (ctrl+F5). I can see the new news stories on the home page on my other computer, just not this one. Oh what to do...

I saw this once before on a machine and the solution was to delete the temporary files (this is using IE on Windows, of course). It seems to happen when the collection of files gets very large. The settings button leads to a slider that can set the size of the temp file folder, and by default it's set very high, especially if you have a huge hard drive. I have mine down to around 20 MB and never have that problem.

Thanks, that seemed to work. My temp fold was allowed to get upto almost 2 gigs, and it took almost 20 minutes to delete, there must have been a lot of crap in there, since I'm on a P4 2.4GHz, nothing takes 20 minutes to do anything on this machine. All is well now, thanks again.
