It kicked major ass.
....and most of you missed out. :(
Tremors is too much after dark. In a good way. It jumped quite a few notches in my woodie ranking (if I really have one, that is). Timber Terror is still my preferred Silverwoodie, but only because it's infinitely re-rideable. The train was smokin' and 1-1 was so smooth, it didn't make any sense. How DO they do that?
New friends were made by all, as was a new enthusiast created in the form of my friend, Santiago. The guy was a madman, taking many more laps than I on Tremors. He's insane, I tell ya!
I know I have a great new pal in Matt Scott, our very own Acoustic Viscosity. What a great dude. He's like me, only taller, younger, and balder. ;) What a great cat.
The big surprise of the day was seeing my buddy Mike Miller (Bassistist, now know as Bassististist ;)) standing at the registration table, and seeing a huge, warm smile spread across his face when he finally noticed me. Most excellent!
At the end of the day, hugs, and phone numbers were exchanged, and tears were shed, along with my buzz (from coasters, and other assorted sundries).
What a grand time, with Mooshie, and Flare being totally responsible. I can only blame them. :):):)
Thanks guys.... Until next year, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. *** Edited 9/27/2005 5:36:01 AM UTC by nasai***

Thanks for the kind words, buddy. :) What a great trip. It was awesome meeting everyone and hanging out. Lots of new friends. Yeah, Santiago got a crash course in coaster enthusiasm. It was fun being his wingman for much of ERT....oh, and the coasters DID kick ass. As for the main event of Tremors vs. Timber Terror....I say it's a dead heat. Both are fantastic. Thanks to Moosh for inviting me along. Let's do it again sometime.

CHICKEN, fight like a robot!
(Write a killer trip report!)
I'm pretty sure, I was with you on one of the most intense TT laps of the year. ( If you had a better ride on TT, let me know! And, I wish I had rode "THAT" lap with ya! )
Actually, this years CAC was mostly just only above lame. I had the most boring time at Silverwood for the CAC event then I had ever had just showing up as part of the general public.
I would NEVER again attend a CAC event ...
(ROFLMAO!!! ..... Isn't this April 1st?)
........
...honest trip report (not a Nasai report) in the making...
I am just getting ready to leave the Northwest in tomorrow morning, sort of extended the stay a bit. We were able to get Fun Forest and Enchanted Village on Sunday. Both Parks were worth the visit besides the credits.
Thanks to all the Northwest friends (even you, Rob :P) that extended their goodwill to those visiting the area, it was greatly appreciated.

An Old Coaster fart that refuses to grow old, I just wish many of my friends could have as well!
I need to hear a story about the poor sap who ran out of gas in eastern Washington and was driven insane by the frightening combination of desolation and freaky locals.
Anyone? Don't make me regret freaking out and not going by reading all about the good times -- have a heart.

"I can't believe this event costs more than twice a normal day at Silverwood."
I told her: "On a regular day it costs $30 to get into the park. Then you have to pay for drinks and meals. CAC cost $48.95 and included park admission, all-you-can-drink Pepsi, an all-you-can eat dinner, and TWO HOURS of ERT."
I felt like asking: "So why did you register then?"
Her comment on the goodie bags the park so graciously gave to every attendee: "I already have that crap...I don't want to carry around all day."
Then, later she complained "I can't access your website." I asked how she was able to mail in the registration form, she said someone printed it out for her.
Her comment at dinner when she found out the meal was pork ribs and BBQ chicken: "What...no vegetarian meals?"
I kindly pointed out to her that the option to request a vegetarian meal was on the form she mailed in with her check, and that she did not request such a meal.
I'll tell you...I've never met this woman before but if this is how she behaves at events I don't want her at any that I organize. If she sends in a check I will simply return it and tell her the event is full.
What a bitter old b!tch!
I got to meet a few more people on this trip and hang with some friends I rarely get to see. I also got to ride 3 new woodies that just kicked my ass!
Frank, is having a hard time chooding between TT and Tremors.
Hey Matt, are your thighs bruised from Coaster at PNE? :)
As for that woman Moosh mentioned..I witnessed it first-hand. I was carrying the box of goody bags into the park and she walks up to me and shouts, "lower that box! I don't want to carry this all day" and threw her bag back into the box. She was wearing a pink hat all day if anyone remembers.

That's cause having just met you I was on my best behavior and you never got the opportunity to be mooshed. Now that I know you better I say we remedy that with a ride together on Twister in 2 weeks! OK? ;)

Bitter is not the word! I was really surprised to see Joan at the event and was wondering how the hell she found out about it. We know her as "crazy Joan" in the local Northwest regional ACE group. She lives down near Vancouver, WA. At all of the coaster events she does nothing but complains and snorts and complains. I can't see how or why she can enjoy such a fun loving, care free hobby when she has such a spasmic tight ass! LOL! Moosh, when you do plan the next CAC Silverwood event feel free to send her back her money. She was even complaining about the train ride that had an endearing gopher and bear show. Sheesh! LOL.
