I wonder if Labor day is just not a busy day at parks?

Kennywood was packed Saturday and Sunday during Labor Day weekend.

But what about Monday?

I've always found that Memorial Day and Labor day (not those weekends, but the actual Day) are great days to visit parks.

Or Maverick.

Sunday was busy at LC, and we were hoping no crowds would show up for Monday at Great Adventure. I've been lucky as I have never been to that park on a bad day. And Nitro, Skull Mountain, and Especially The Toro were so wonderful.

Maybe they are going to be opened year around! I don't see the season pass being that bad of a deal.. 300 for 2 years with unlimited visits to all the parks with free parking and 10% off everything. Last weekend we got 30% off at Sesame Place. I still believe they need another coaster at BGE.

No I don't have a kid, but I still want to ride!

My experience has been that on any 3-day weekend, Sunday will get the biggest crowd, and the holiday Monday will get a "Sunday-sized" crowd.

Secret: Sunday is typically the slowest day of the week at Cedar Point.

Monday was still pretty busy. Not as busy as Saturday and Sunday, but my both Kangaroo and Jack Rabbit were spilling out into the midway for much of the day.

Not sure about Sunday getting the biggest crowd, but its possible. Kennywood had the same attendance this past Saturday and Sunday. I would agree that Monday is generally "Sunday-sized" though.

Kennywood's slowest day is also Sunday; but only early in the season. Once you get into July and August, its a complete crapshoot as to which day is slowest. All depends on the picnics.

Kings Island was packed on Saturday.

Maybe BGW and WC are both building a huge glass dome over the parks! ;)
