I hardly call B&M quiet! Look at how many coasters they built this year!
As for that SFMM woodie. For 3 or 4 years now there have been rumours of a 400 foot woodie at SFMM. That rumor will probably never die until they actually build another woodie.

LMAO 400ft woodie! Who comes up with this stuff?!
And way to go jdancisin, I was waiting to see how long it took for someone to say something like that, lol.

It tastes like burning.

No, their coasters are just as loud as ever. Except for the ones with the sand inside the rails to dampen the sound.
Didn't we discuss this before and determine the sand is in the spine, not the rails? I can't find that thread.

Dorney Park visits in 2002: 15
We know hardly anything for next year for the vast majority of the parks. And even if there is only one B&M built next year, I doubt that would be a trend. We're in a lull right now after the huge building spree over the past several years. There won't be new coasters going up in every park all the time.
With that said, I'm sure that the flying coaster will catch on. With three viable options already operating I'm sure most corporate parks could afford one of the three. I just hope it doesn't turn into Batman vs. SLC. You go to any SF park in the country and their full circuit inverted coaster is only one of two designs. I hope Superman doesn't become Batman (which I really do love, my favorite invert) and Six Flags decides that variety is the spice of life. But I do see the major players getting some type of flyer over the next 5 years. And B&M appear to have to cream of the crop in this field.
With the new Intamin woodies and with all the revolutionizing Intamin coasters I would not be suprised AT ALL if SFMM got a 219+ woodie for the record to a 300ft woodie. If they went way over 300ft. I'd be suprised.
No matter if it's a record breaker or not, they need new wood.

in my opinion we will see B&Ms at:
Thorpe (Nemesis Inferno)
SFGAm (Flyer)
SFGAdv (Flyer)
those in my mind are almost definite and you know there will be more. as someone said a number of hypers are rumored, etc.
even if they only built 4, thats not bad... the market's kinda in the toilet... and look at 2001, they only built 4 that year... one outside of the U.S.
perhaps all the parks are kinda synchronized to be adding B&Ms every 2 years. in 2001, few wanted B&Ms as many had bought coasters in 2000. 2002 was another building year for most... but 2003 may not be.

You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

Go look over to GTTP for any hints on the new coaster...there are plenty.
Teenage Ninja, yes CP is getting a coaster...when are you going to get it through your head? IF SFMM gets a woodie it will undoubtably use the same technology as the 200 ft woodie at Heide Park in Germany. Each piece is specially milled and given a number. This makes the ride extremely smooth. Some say much too unlike a woodie. Anyway, if any track section becomes damaged, the park can contact Intamin, and they will have to shipped overnight by air to have it installed for the next day.

The SFMMInsider... coming soon
Yep, you guessed it, B&M have been keep secrets. Watch out for the new ride that reaches speeds to break the sound barrier, or reach the height of the Empire State Building.
B&M know exactly what they are doin when it comes to designing rides. They know what the limits are, and know what would produce and interesting ride. However, its the parks that decide on what to buy. They determine what the "public", NOT "enthusiasts" will enjoy the most and make them want to come back again. That last sentence says it all.
So just wait for the announcements. They will be starting to be made shortly. And then all the speculation will end.

How often do u see SFGAmerica getting a clone?
Well, not always a clone, but something that is cloned. Demon and Whizzer have (had) identical counterparts. Shockwave was cloned. B:TR was cloned. Spaceley's Sproket Rockets is a clone, DV is a prototype, but still a clone, V2 is a clone. Viper is a cy-clone. Out of 11 coasters, only 3 are totally unique, Iron Wolf, American Eagle, and Raging Bull. SFGAm is a clone park, get over it :P It's not like it's a bad thing.
