B&M Batman clones question....

Batman The Ride @ SFNJ : Black w/ yellow rails

Not meaning to be one to make a big deal over a small oversight, but the Batman clone at Six Flags Great Adventure is actually black with rust colored rails.  I forget if the rails were originally black or unpainted/grey, but I don't think they were ever yellow.
Too bad, though... I've seen pictures of the SFOT version of the ride and I think the yellow makes the coaster look a lot better.

Actually, B:TR @ SFGAm is dark blue, all of it except the "rails". I, too used to think it was black, but it's not.
I've read plenty of times the one in Japan is a mirror of Raptor, since somebody mentioned the mirrors. I don't know if that's true or not, not that it matters, clone, mirror, same thing really.

Batman at SFoG is probaly my favorite inverted. A good sized ride. I can see for sure why there are so many of them. Intense and quick, I don't remember brakes(?). It never lets of its pace. Raptor, on the other hand, I found to be not as exciting. It's hard to compare the inverteds, IMO, they're too much all alike and too much different at the same time. I also like how they removed part of the parking lot(SFoG) and put it up. No trees knocked over(I think), it really didn't knock out many spaces.

Um, no. Batman: The Ride at SFGAm is black and has been black ever since it opened. The rails are VERY rusted though, they used to be silver, or just plain metel. But I know for sure that Batman is black.

Arent the two Medusa's clones      SFGADV      SFMW?
B&M ROCKS - No they arent. They have a different layout and SFMW has a sea serpent instead of a cobra roll, but imho nothing can compare to the original floorless. ;)

Oh cool thanks for telling me that
No MF#1, B:TR @ SFGAm *IS BLUE*. I too first thought it was black. But when you are in the back alley part of the queue and you look at the supports, it's quite clear that it is a midnight blue NOT black. Take a peek for yourself sometime.

MF#1RB#2BVL, Ok... I've seen Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great America almost every day since April and I've seen parts of the ride that you'll probably never see, if you look closely, the ride is a very dark blue, and that's that.

hmm: i shall have some input on this.  batman: the ride, at six flags great america, is blue.  many shades of blue, in fact.  maybe in a monochrome world it's black ...
well due to the fact that this was the the first and only inverted that seemed to make alot of money- 6flags seemed towant more of them. many B&M rides r clones.

SFoT's BTR has midnight purple supports, nearly black... Not blue.

JMan, joey isch, Greg - many thanks to all of you - taking the high road is "where it's at".  And basically, cloning is a financial issue, not a moral one.  If someone else is willing to pay the initial cost of engineering/ride design/layout, etc., some park 1000 miles away can easily benefit from the reduced costs AND get a great proven ride.  (I think everyone agrees that B:TRs are great rides, no).  With a little better concept of what naming/theming/scenery are all about, SF could make these rides EVEN BETTER, at little or no additional cost!
