Blaze Find

I don't know if this is just me or not, but when I'm surfing CB or GTTP, any page will randomly change to Blaze Find search engine. I can hit back to return to the page before, but it's very irritating.

Is there any particular reason why this is happening?

SpyWare

Best bet is to go to www.lavasoftusa.com and download ad-aware. It should get rid of it. If not, do a search on google for hijackthis.exe. Great program to eliminate spyware. Just be careful with it.

Spybot-Search and Destroy is what I use. I couldn't do without it. http://spybot.eon.net.au/

You know what though, I have been having some problems with spyware lately even though I have been using spybot. I think that when I signed up for the forums to see the Storm Runner video, I also unknowingly signed up for free software that automatically downloads into my computer. Spybot will not take care of this problem.

Find "Add/Remove Programs" in your control panel and see if there is any unusuial programs. If you find something wierd, uninstall it. Pop up adds can be the result of a "free" program installed into your computer. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't read the fine print that told me that these programs were going to be put onto my hard drive. It sucks trying to get rid of them.

I'm not an expert. This is info that I have figured out on my own within the past week. Maybe someone else can be more detailed on the subject.

Right, it's not the site, that's some crap you inadvertently installed. See above links for removal.

Hey, I just thought of this. Sometimes at the bottom of these search website popups will be a link to uninstall it from your computer. This is yet another thing to look for when weird popups occur.
