Biking to Amusement Parks

I actually emailed Cedar Point and asked them about biking to the park for my 2007 visit. In response, I was told I can bike out to the park on the Chausee, but would have to lock my bike to the fence by the toll booths; bikes aren't allowed on Cedar Point property.

For ACE's 2005 convention, I biked every day from the hotels to Great America and to Mt Olympus. No problems. Great America has a bike rack near the ticket booths. And no charge for parking!

I can totally understand that. Driving out of that parking lot can be bad enough just dodging inconsiderate drivers. Dodging people on bikes could get sketchy.
