bgw....is there anything wrong with this park?

i visited bgw for the first time this summer.  i can honestly say that it is the best amusement park i've ever been to.  (but i haven't been to islands of adventure yet...) i was just wondering if there is anything in bgw that you guys think could be improved on.  i'm not talking adding big huge coasters but different things......like theming in a particular section or improving customer relations in some way....basically how could this wonderful park be any better leaving out the discussion of building new rollercoasters?
Yeah, I can name something that is wrong with it. Its far from my front door.

O yes we have a wrestling fan.  What?

I said a fan of wrestling. What?

Although I think it's fine as it is, I certainly wouldn't mind if they built a really nice wood coaster! :)

Yeah, a woodie would really compliment the skyline over at BGW:)

i agree, that would really add to the park.  possibly in the canadian section.
The only beef that i have with BGW is that the pathway to Alpengeist from the German section is really confusing.  You have to wind through all these little corridors and I always seem to get lost even though i have been there quite a few times.  Other than that... BGW ROCKS
maybe i'm slow, but i don't get it NoRulz2k???
But Johnathan, Do we really want a slow rollercoaster? (Canada Joke) (No offense to Canadians)

It's right up there with Cedar Point in my book and it has probably half the rides. It's the most beautiful park out there, even over IOA. What could it use besides a classic wooden coaster...maybe some more flat rides or rides in general in the France section. A themed Freefall would be great too... like Tower of Terror.
I only found one thing wrong...Drachen Fire being dismantled. But what can you do?

If you are interested...I took a few pictures of Drachen Fire (pretty close-up) last April:

The biggest thing that I can think of to complain about is it's a little to far from me for day trip. ;)
My complaint? Well first off I have to mention the lack of woodie or else rollergator will scold me. Other than that it would have to be all the freaking hills. I mean it makes the ambiance of the park that much "mo' betta", but they really just make this Illinois "flat-lander" dead-tired.

--who likes BGW very much, but would trade RGW (that is rollergator) for the Floridian version anyday..
Besides what 2Hostyl said, I would add that they could use some more flat-rides, and a tour guide for first-timers to find the queue for Alpengeist.

If you have to figure out how to ride a coaster to be comfortable, then that's not a coaster worth riding.

...flattered, also must...mention...the...hills.  Whew, out of breath from all the climbing!  Only park with similar "hilliness" that I can think of off-hand was SFMM, but they had a cart to roll my lazy butt up the hill ater I got tired...actually a cool small-version inclined train.  (Now, parks with "hillbilliness", that's ANOTHER story, LMAO...).

The landscaping at BGW is fantastic, but the spread-out nature, the hills, and my "flatlanderism" made me one tired gator at the end of the day.  It woulda been better if the sky-ride hadn't been closed for winds...probably for the best;)...yeah, jeremy, I feel we have better rides overall, intensity-wise, but that park has "ambience"...and I made it all the way to the end without once saying....WOOD!

Florida needs an Intamin and/or CCI soon...PLEASE!

I would say BGW needs more thrill rides and yes more coaster.Busch is a family theme park. It would be nice if BGW was both a family park and a thrill park all in one so that way the park could attract the family as well as the thrill seekers. BGW need more thrilling flat rides and yes a few more coasters after my shift is over i usually ride AC or Alpie and thats it because the parks other coaster just don't pack enough punch to thrill me like the two newer ones. But i think thrilling flate rides like some S&S towers or an Intamin Freefall ride along with other things thrill rides like that would improve the park the most.
