BGW, Unsafe and dangerous to the public......

Now, this is a very interesting case. Kid flips of the on ride camera and is told by the photo booth that they can be kicked out of the park for his sons actions. The guy defense is that they had no permission to take a photo of them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this guy know that it notifys you that they will be taking your picture on this ride? Come on, complaining about an on-ride photo? You don't have to buy it and it's out of the computers memory within a few hours. Nobody is wants to buy a picture of your son flipping of the camera anyway.

Tell me what your reaction is to this complaint

What an asshole. I could even read in that story where he lied.

Every new beginning comes from sone other beginning's end.

Also usually on the pictures the employee won't put the picture up on the screen so no one even saw the picture other than the employee

ROTFLMAO! That's hilarious...what a pansy. If that's fiction, it's gold, if it's not, it's just funny as hell. He's got to be lying.
I'm bet he lied about the part where he just walked away. Sounds like this guy cussed employee out and then walked away.

Taking the picture: This would probably be covered in a disclaimer sign either at the front gate or on the back of his ticket stub.

Sounds like there's a lot of exageration in his letter. When you first read it, it sounds as if he was approached by security officers with guns drawn. But, before we all start calling him names, remember there are two sides to every story.

How did you get ahold of this letter? I'm guessing this is probably something that shouldn't be posted on here.

This guy was bitter at an emplyoee, so he says taking an on ride photo is unaturhtorized? Hypertechnically, yes, but parks have a disclaimer they can take pics of you for promotional purposes, I think this would be one! Wow some people in this world, complaing about an in ride photo!

I don't think anybody here has enough information to determine whether this guy was in the right or not. You can say what you want, but this hardly an unbiased audience.

What an Pansy Ass. Vertigo, did you find this on the web, if so, could you please give a link.

He sounds like he would complain about everything. He acted like he approved of his son flipping the camera off.

Also, the parks DO properly advertise that you will be getting your photo taken. If you don't like it, don't ride the ride.

This sounds like a lawsuit that is waiting to happen. I'd be surprised how many times people get a lawyer for things that are just stupid. cough:mcdonald'shotcoffee:cough

Hardly an unbiased audience?

Anyways, I think the guy was lying his a** off, what's wrong with an on ride photo, perhaps the guy should have looked closer for disclaimers and such before writing this. However, had he asked, they probably would not have been able to not take his picture. But, his son did pose for the picture. His father is the legal responsibility of the son, and should the park have to deal with profanity because he wasn't watching his son. And, he didn't ask for them to not take his picture. And the water thing, that shouldn't have been included. This guy sounds like a real jacka**, so I have to go with the park on this one.

What a dumb person, if you have ever been to any modern amusement park you know that on-ride photos are there and almost always on. It bothers me to think that there are really people out there that are this stupid, I AM CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY!

Sorry, VertiGO, but I had a guest just like you today at work.

The guests played a midway game and lost. They came back several minutes later to complain that

A.they came all the way from across the country and spent 50 dollars with nothing to show for it

B. Said the game was impossible to win

C. Claimed that there was "background noise" which prevented them from hearing the rules which I spelled out exclusively to them

Its people like that who cannot stand losing and don't understand that they are playing a game (implying that they may not win) who really make me mad. Vertigo, if what you have said above is indeed true, I have the bad feeling that you are one of those people.

Well let us see...where to begin. I live in southeastern Virginia and have been to BGW many times. In the past I was a season pass holder and have many friends work for the park. This "complaint" is filled with many lies. First off the park security does not carry guns. Second of all, the people that work at the photo stands do not even work for Busch Gardens, they work for an outside company. The photo's people do not even carry radios, that disproves the yelling into the radio part. In response to making obscene gestures to the cameas, they have kicked many people out for doing it, I would know because I was kicked out for telling the camera it was number 1. Any way...I am very amused that anyone would lie that much in a "complaint"...

What a bunch off crap. For thinking its ok to flip off a camera he should of gotten kicked out. Seems to me someone should of read there ticket stub.

I have seen that happen on the games before, its seeing of the game person will give you somthing.

Exactly PKIEMPSOB, they are trying to play the sympathy card, and as often as I hear that kind of stuff, it just doesn't work anymore for guests who are disrespectful. Besides, its not like prizes can be handed out as we see fit...

If that was the case people would hit on gamers instead of ride ops.

Yes, D-MONOFDARKNESS...would you consider a group of coaster enthusiasts to be unbiased when it comes to complaints about the way a park handled a situation? I don't think so.

Nobody here has the information to comment on what happened, and any attempts at that only makes you look ridiculously stupid.

This isn't about me. This guy named Dcremade started complaining and bashing Busch Gardens in a forum . When we did delete it because of some the bad mouthing that started between him and the defending side(BGW fans). When asked what was his motive for this negative viewing of BGW, he directed us to this .

Coasterpimp, you're probably right about all of this guys lies. Nikeyta was also in that forum and said that it was all...well I'm not gonna' use her exact words, but lets just say she pulled out "Angie Stone's So Pissed Off" attitude on him and that's what made the battle rise before it was put out.

Isn't there something that states the park has the right to take photos for promotional purposes? After all, you are on their property. If they rode Apollo, Alpengeist, or Loch Ness, he would have known that their photos were taken on those rides as well.

Kid flips off camera. I've seen jerks do it and the park blocks out that photo.
