I would also say Cedar Point. I think Magic Mountain is a close second. MM's rides certainly look as impressive as Cedar Points but I think the actual mountain "hill" that makes up the park takes away the staggering size of its rides. Some may disagree and say the opposite. But when I see pictures and when I was there eons ago that is how it struck me. As far as quality rides and coasters CP and MM are equal IMO.

Magic Mountain is an awsome sight! Especially when driving up the hill to get into the parking lot. Viper is probably the most intimidating coaster I've ever seen. Superman doesn't look like a ride, it's just to tall. And now that Goliath towers above most everything in the park, I would have to say Magic Mountain.
Cedar Point all the way...especially since I can see the whole thing from my house :)
Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary Resort Monorail on your first day of your visit.
Speaking of skylines, Chang at SFKK really sticks out! From the road ( I don't know what road but it is a big one) Chang looks so much higher than anything else there. That was cool. For some reason when I was looking over at SFKK I didn't see Hellevator at all. Twisted Sisters looks so small. Islands of Adventure has a good skyline with Hulk and Dragons sticking up. I'll never forget when I first was entering IOA. When I saw Hulk I was so excited. IMO the best skyline is IOA.

See you in 2001 for twice the fun (hint, hint)
When you first see those flashing red lights at the peak of Superman's structure, it's enough to take your breath away, literally. I'll never forget the look on everyone's face on opening day. Also, to see Magnum for the first time, same reaction. Cedar Point and SFMM blow you away on first time visits. No other parks in the US come close IMO.

Life consists of two kinds of people, those who accept, and those who sit back and cry...
IOA is truly a vision, but I wouldn't call it a skyline. Just drive up the causeway to Cedar Point and you'll see the definition of a skyline. You can see every big coaster...it's breathtaking. SFMM is a very close second, but Lake Erie gives CP the edge by adding to the dramatics.
I'l have to say that overall the nod goes to CP. With the lakefront setting, it makes me think of Chicago done in coasters rather than skyscrapers. Quite lovely actually...
But if you want a really eycatching skyline, try driving up to SFO. Seeing S:UE literaly RIGHT THERE beside the road, with its towers being split by Mind Eraser. Well it was all I could do to keep the buggy on the road :). S:UE is best described by one word..FREAKY!

Six Flags Ohio doesn't top Cedar Point by any means, in my opinion. However, I completely agree it's an interesting sight. You can see Superman: Ultimate Escape and their observation tower from down the road, but there's one point where you pull out from behind some trees and wham! There it is.

Cedar Point, anyone who doesn't vote for it obviously hasn't been there. I've never seen a sight like that before, and I'm not expecting to either.
What makes Cedar Point so unique is that fact that it sits out there surrounded by water. I get positively goofy approaching any park--searching the skyline for the very first glimpse of a coaster or tower, getting excited when American Eagle or Superman Ultimate Escape comes into view---but no park I've been to compares to that spectacular view across the water.
Well, if you look at my track record you will see tha tI have not realy been to that many parks. Cp looks like it might have the best skyline, but, I will just go by what I know. With that said, I think that SFMM has one of the best skylines. It is just beautiful. You are heading north on the I-5 in the middle of a desert with nothing in sight but rolling, dry hills. Then, in the distance you can make out the Skytower (380 ft) and S:TE (415 ft) towering above everything. As soon as you get off the freeway, Goliath coming into view. The tension starts to build and peaks as you crest the top of Magic Mountain parkway and you see Viper standing tall and proud. From within the park there are some great views. I could go on for a long time, but, I think I will stop. :)
Like I have said before I have not been to many parks. My vote would go to SFOT (gasping for breathe). Its just beautiful on one of those misty mornings to get to the park early and then look out on the top of a ride. But, of course, I am sure CP is far better.
Cedar Point from looking from the water...no obstructions, and the rides seem so much higher!
Also, seeing that Tower appear from behind the trees when driving South to Kings Island on 71.
Well, I think I'd have to also go with Cedar Point. I mean, it's the only park where just DRIVING up to it is an attraction all in itself!

Definitely Cedar Point. Just driving up the cause way and seeing Millenium Force's beacon flashing gave me the chills as well. Oh yeah, the other tall things are great too.
