Best skyline for Themepark

I was just wondering how many people shared my opinion that Canada's Wonderland has the best skyline. The mountain and coasters looks so phat across the vast Canadian prairie.
Vast Canadian prarie??
You mean the CITY of Vaughan? Because it's smack in the middle of it. Wasn't origionally, but the city is engulfing it now...
Anyway, I think the best skylines are the Magic Kingdom, (there's nothing better than Cindarella's castle early in the morning), or Cedar Point, driving up the causeway and seeing all those coasters sticking out of the lake... ooh, it gives me goosebumps... :)

Two ways to get there, one unobstructed skyline with several objects over 200 feet tall. I think you know the one.

I guess I took the back entrance :)
I think I know the one Jeff. That's got my vote for best skyline, too.

Well, driving onto the rt.50 bridge into Ocean City ,MD is impressive, with Trimpers and the Ocean Pier on the left, and condo row on the far right. And coming over off the Garden State Pkwy. onto the North Wildwood exit over the bay is great. You see the ocean straight ahead, then you see on the left the towering rides on Morey's Piers. The distance spans about a mile from pier to pier. That is a sight. Though Cedar Point is not so bad.

When you go over the bridge on Rte. 2, you can see a tiny Millennium Force. I can picture myself jumping out of my seat once I saw it.

Cedar Point, easily.

i would have to say cedar point.
Any park where you can see a coaster from anywhere outside of the park.;) Seriously though, Cedar Point, Coney Island, and Hershey from the main road near the convenience market.

Everybody calm down, the coasters do not open for another fifteen minutes.
Probably Cedar Point, but Michigan's Adventure has a nice skyline, too... ;)

I like SFGAM's while driving down I94 it suddenly appears and bites you in the ___. Road - Theme Park. I also Like the SFMM setting within the hills. For instance when your going North on the Interstate all you see is Goliath and the Skytower buried by the hills. CP has a great skyline, I also get the Goosebumps driving down the causeway.

I don't agree that MA has a nice skyline. MA is one of the ugliest parks I've ever been to. It's skyline has nothing on CP's skyline. Please not that just because I think MA is ugly, doesn't mean I think it's bad. I enjoy going to MA. I just think it's ugly.
Oh let's see...a 205 ft. coaster, a 300+ ft. coaster, a 300ft. freefall ride, the second largest stand-up in the world, a giant ferris wheel and a space spiral all surrounded by water. I can't think of any other park that looks this impressive. CP all the way...no comparison.

Yet another vote...Cedar Point, hands down, the most impressive skyline...

SFMM has more structures over 200' than CP. (or at least it will soon with X and DV) Skytower, Goliath, Superman, and Viper. (almost 200') And THE tallest standup in the world. Nothing is cooler than Viper staring you in the face as you come up Magic Mountain Parkway! I vote for The Mountain. BTW Martling, Mantis is the 3rd tallest standup. Riddler #1, then Chang, THEN Mantis.

"X" marks the spot in 2001! *** This post was edited by Soggy on 12/28/2000. ***
Well with the world's first giga coaster and the best collection of rides anywhere, I would have to go with CP.
I'd also have to cast my vote for Cedar Point. My favorite part about the skyline started before i even got into view of the skyline. I was heading on a road name I can's remember towards the Point and passed Sandusky airfield. I wasn't driving, and was leisurely looking out the right side of the car. There was a break in the trees, and there, in all its glory, were MF's first 3 hills. Yeah, Cedar Point wins, hands down(or up?).

I'll agree - it needs a lot of work, indeed. However, just standing in that parking lot watching a train go through Shivering Timbers' entire course is good enough for me.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has the best skyline. The wooden Rattler is just beautiful, and Superman Krypton Coaster on top of the rock quarry looks awesome. The whole park being inside the quarry gives it an unbelievably awesome look.
