Best non-full circuit coaster

Face/Off is the only one I've been on and I like it.

Can you take me higher? (CREED)
Superman Ult Esc is probably my favorite shuttle as of now. I love Batman and Robin Chiller, Mr. Freeze and who DOESN'T like the Schwarzkopf's? I think boomers are ok, but I've just been on so many, I think I'm disliking them for that reason (and the fact that they're really not all THAT great).

Glad to see a SUE clone is headed toward SFGAm this year. I still can't decide which I like more on that coaster, front or back. Terrible dilemma to have, I know ;).

That announcement on Laser Loop was great. I loved it!
While I really enjoy the newer shuttles, those old Schwarzkoph ones have something I think all but one (S:TE) of the newer shuttles don't have: no shoulder restraints! Media day on MR. Freeze just about KILLED me with those ear bashers.

(Who would kill to ride the newer shuttles with just a lap bar)
Nothing beets Tidal Wave at PGA,a.k.a.(Greased Lightnin'). I just wish they wouldn't break the train before you enter the station going backwards. Plus, it had some pretty good theming back in the old days withe the waves and the shipwreck scene out front. Oh well, this will always be my favorite shuttle loop coaster!

SUE is it.

(SFGAm up there with CP? That's certainly not my experience--what do you base that on?)
I'd rank the ones I've ridden as:

1. S:UE
2. Laser Loop (The full tape ran "Welcome to the Laser Loop! We're ready for launch. Counting down...3...2...1...GO!")
3. Chiller (Batman side)
4. Face/Off, Two-Face
5. SFO's Mind Eraser

S:ue the only one I've been on
1. Greezed Lightnin' (PGA)
2. Inverigo (PGA)
3. Sidwinder (SFEG)
4. Boomerang (SFEG)

Greezed Lightnin' is awesome. Just having a lap bar to hold you in is so much better. I love the front seat because it looks like you are going to fly right off the top!

I thought the chiller was good... But you cannot top getting 7 seconds of air on S:TE 400 feet in the air... euphoric

I'm 2 for 2 so far!!!
Tidal Wave formally at SFGAM was and still is a great ride. Nothing beats the sound of the coaster when it returns to the station. If you have ever ridden it or another like it you know what I mean. SUE is sweet. SFGAM 2001

well since you were talking about my earlier post i'll reply back, IMO SFGAm is a great park it is already almost as good as CP. Both the new coasters look good so it will be even closer.

Lets compare the Parks Coasters
Raging Bull vs. Magnum- I prefer Raging Bull
Raptor Vs. Batman- I can't chose between them
Mean Streak Vs. American Eagle- American Eagle
Viper vs. Blue Streak- Viper
Demon vs. Corkscrew- Demon
Mantis Vs. Iron Wolf- Mantis

CP has Millennium Force
but SFGAm is getting the two new coasters.

-------------
#1: Millennium Force
#2: Raging Bull
#3: Tie B:TR/Raptor
#4: Viper (SFGAm)
#5: Goliath/Magnum *** This post was edited by geicu on 1/4/2001. ***
Definitely Two-Face at SFA. It is one of the smoothest coasters I have ever been on, in fact every coaster at SFA is smooth except Mind Eraser. Joker's Jinx is not rough people!

Parks for 2000: CP, Great Escape, Great Adventure, SFA, Islands of Adventure, Kennywood
I agree that Joker's Jinx is not rough. It's scathingly rough.

Heh. Yeah, that's right, I forgot about that bit. Probably because we always had our arms up ;)

I suppose that's fine if all you're interested in is roller coasters. It's just been my experience that Great America, as a park, doesn't compare to Cedar Point in terms of cleanliness, variety of entertainment, food, quality of gifts, and other things.

I will have to say Montezooma's revenge and Mr. Freeze are tied for my favorite.
The impulse coaster does seem to be the way to go.

....But then again, we don't want another Suspended Looping Coaster.

-------------
...But that's just my opinion. Unless it's also someone else's.
1. Face/Off
2. Mr. Freeze
3. Tidal Wave
4. Any Boomerag
5. S:UE

Hopefully my opinion of S:UE will change this year now that it is at my home park SFGAM. I wasn't real impressed with it at SFO. You get blasted to 70 MPH, which was cool but then you stop too quickly. Mr. Freeze has that incredible tophat inversion and you get to do something with the speed. I am very excited for the Super Invertigo!
