Mine would have to be..
ACE's Summer Twin Con at Memphis Kiddy Park and SFWoA.
One hour ERT on BKF or Villain from 10:20-11:20. Let me tell you...
When you can ride front seat on BKF, and not get off that whole hour because there are only 4 people on each train. Plus its very dark.. It equals a magic ERT on BKF. Not hearing any screaming while riding, just the wind and the B&M roar is breathtaking. Words cannot describe it..
Then the day after...
8am in the morning.. ERT on SUE and XF for the news. First some rides on SUE, maybe only 1/4 of the train had people in it. Six re-rides :) Then over to XF where we got to ride with Ride Ops as we got to ride it 15 times in one hour. Boy is it awesome when you dont leave your seat for an hour on XF. Plus, there were seats still to spare!
Those are my greatest moments in 01' Sorry if it was a little confusing to read, but i was just writing away ;)

Touch The Sky
30 rides on Wild Mouse at Hershey in one day, 45 in all 4 days we went we got 44. Going psycho while riding it. My friend throwing his Funnel Cake in a very small pond in the midway of SFWoA. A picture of me and my friends pretending to fight in our picture of Villain at SFWoA. My first ride on X-Flight. My first hypercoaster. My friend eating pringles on the lift hill. Same friend falling while jumping over concrete steps exiting BKF. Same friend repeatedly failing at using the payphone to call someone from Dorney Park. Same friend at the top of the lift saying "This is the part where we fall down." Me losing my sense of direction while riding Trailblazer at Hershey. My first ride on Millennium Force. The fat guy running ERT on Lightning Racer at Coastercon. Having ideas to ask amish girls for their phone number at the park (no offense to amish people. Screaming on the little drop out of the station on BKF. My friend forgetting his bookbag with swimming stuff on Villain and us having to go back to get it. My dad thinking he's cool showing me the article saying doctors think coasters are not safe. My brother constantly complaining about my interest in coasters just like he complains about every single other thing I do.
Best of all was on the opening day after leaving SFWoA. Some guy at a McDonald's in the parking lot went out of his way to run over a newspaper stand then drove off.
There's so much more that I can add but my brother is complaining (like usual).

I have 32 coasters in my track record.....I'm so proud of myself.
mine was stepping foot for the first time onto SFA in June 2001. i know its not the greatest of the SF chain, but it will always hold a special place with me....till that point, i had only been to PKD and BGW my whole life, thus had a limited view of the coaster world...nothing beat that first ride on the front seat of S:ROS!!! still is my #1!!!
Tim (SROS still reigns...we shall see when i conquer MF at the Point on 7/25:))

"hi, my name is Tim, and im a coasterholic"...."Hi Tim!!" hehe:)

i don't feel like putting anything here
Wow, Jeremy. I don't think I can approach that.
Mine would be taking a coaster novice to the Batwing shoot and watching her go from intimidated her first ride to wildly enthusiastic by the end of the session. Then she took off and rode every other coaster in the park.
my moment had to be the first time on nitro 4/14/01.. i will never forget that day
check out my member photo and you can get an idea of just how happy i was....

Pearl Jam + Roller Coasters = Heaven on Earth. :)
Good topic, I have quite a lot of nice memories from last year but I can't list them all. Here are the ones that stick out in my mind at this instance..
- Las Vegas trip in Feb. First time riding all the coasters there except Desperado which I did in 1995. Doing my first bungee jump next to Circus Circus and being totally blown away by it. Also being on top of the Stratosphere when some bouncing/shaking was going on and finding out later that it was a mild tremor. I just thought it was the coaster at first.
- Nine hour trip to PKD to ride Hypersonic on opening weekend. What an amazing ride! First official coaster trip in my new car and was pleased that it held up fine.
- X Flight media day and commercial shoot. Jon Smith and I ended up getting 4 front row rides without getting off during that first day of the shoot. Someone told the Vekoma engineers at the ride that I had ridden Stealth. They seemed amazed by this and asked me all kinds of comparision questions, then, out of the blue, one of them hands me a cookie. Go figure.
- Doing a great trip down South visiting Visionland, SFOG, Wild Adventures, Miracle Strip, Jazzland, City Park, and arriving at Dixie Landing as parts of Tropical Storm Barry arrived. On the flight down to Alabama, getting to chat a bit with the band Hatebreed who were playing a gig in Birminham and realizing they are good friends with one of my friends I used to go to shows with.
- Going back to work for one day after the South trip, then leaving for California for one of the most coaster packed trips of the year. Thanks to the efforts of friend Jeff Johnson, we ended up going to 18 different parks in about a week including most in Southern California, Northern California, and a brief side trip to Silverwood in Idaho.
- Getting to witness the 4th, -7th test runs of SFMM's X on the last night of the trip. Also getting to hang out a bit with Arrow's Alan Shike (sp?)
- Spending some time at the Santa Monica Pier and taking it all in. The ocean. The sounds. The sights. And realizing that I am standing in the same area that Three's Company taped their intro. Don't ask.
-The entire ACE Coaster Con trip and side trips. Traveling with an amazing group of friends and having one of the best times of my life even though it may not have been evident at the time of the trip. Riding my 350th coaster(Vapor Trail) and not realizing it until later in the trip.
- Taking part in PKI's Coaster Camp! Some complained that there wasn't enough ERT but I found the event to be well worth the cash for the insane scavenger hunt that took place the second day of the event. Having a campfire and watching videos was the icing on the cake for me. Also getting to meet some new faces was cool.
- Being at the Tomb Raider: The Ride announcement with a few others and finally getting to understand a bit more about what was taking place next to The Beast. Talking to Jeff about the site and getting me to finally post after checking it out from time to time. =:^)
- Closing Sunday at Cedar Point. Once again, that Sandusky magic was in the air to provide one of those evenings where everything seemed to fall right into place. Yea, it was a bit cold out, but it was one heck of a day. That last ride on Millennium Force at night was truly a great way to leave the Po!nt for the season.
- Closing Sunday at PKI. Doing the walk-back with around 75 ACE members and seeing them again later in the evening for the official last ride of the season on The Beast. It ended up being the most crowded day I have ever seen the park, but that didn't prevent us from have a blast.
- Flying over New York City just a couple of weeks after September 11th on my way to Bristol for the Oc-Boulder-Fest event and having a blast despite the events that happend earlier.
- Doing the 2001 IAAPA show and having a blast while I covered some of it for ACE News. Getting my first rides on a SCAD and still feeling the buzz from it on the way home. Hanging out with some amazing people while at the show and at the IOA party.
That's all I can think of at this time.
