Best Looking Coasters

Someone mentioned how coasters look when lit up. It's really too bad coasters don't employ tracer lights like they used to. The Santa Cruz Giant Dipper looks wonderful at night. And does anyone remember the Tidal Wave when it had blue and white tracers that switched patterns when the ride launched? Nice!

But alas, expensive to maintain I'm sure. But now with LED technology....?????

Mean streak is like looking at artwork and then Millennium force is pretty awesome especially the lights on the hill at night.

i think the Thunder hawk had a great paint job back in 2006. it really needed it. also the villan still looks spectacular with the wooden track and steel supports. very convincing!!!

I can't believe that it took many posts before Magnum was mentioned. How can anyone forget the mighty Magnum with the Lake Erie backdrop? Especially with fresh paint that makes it stand out again!

I know Mean Streak is far from being best coaster in world. But will agree that it is a beautiful ride to look at.

I don't remember the names, but a few of the large woodies in Japan that are painted white are simply amazing!

I also think there should be a prize for "most beautiful sounding" and for me that one goes to Tatsu at SFMM (or other sand-filled B&Ms for that matter).

I think most coasters can look somewhat beautiful in their own way - it's hard to say who is no1.
I also like the unreal and monstrous looks of X and Deja Vu - but I enjoy most B&Ms as well.

I really like the paint job on Firehawk at Kings Island.Better than the green when it was Xflight.Also the new colored trains

^ I have to disagree. I loved that green track. It fit so perfectly with the theme. I think it would have still fit the bill with the new name change.
