Predator at darien lake and Mean Streak are in the top for me.
The Magnum at sunset is beautiful. It's been my background on my computer for ages now. The Mean Streak is also very cool looking.

Hitler = Bad
Soup = Good
The Superman: Ride Of Steel at Six Flags New England looks very cool. I love the sleekness of the drop and all of the twists, curves, and drops of the coaster. It especcialy loosk good from standing next to the overbanked turn!
My favorites are Incredible Hulk and MF.

Mellenium Force; The future is riding on it.
OKay here's mine:
Standup
--Riddler's Revenge at SFMM. Damn, entering the queue and just lookin at the green thingy is an experience in itself.
Wood
--Ghostrider at Knott's. A photo of the part of the coaster perpendicular to the drop is as photogenic as you get.
Hyper
--Millenium Force. Don't need to explain.
SitDown Looping
--Viper at SFMM. Maybe it's because it stares right down at you when you're in the bus parkin lot, or whatever, but that coaster is really a marvel to look at.
Inverted
--Raptor/Batman:TR.. Raptor is long and shiny,and Batman:TR has good theming, especially those statues.
And oh yeah, I don't remember the name, but that one coaster in Japan. Not Fujiyama , but some other one that I believe has lighted rails.
I agree that the Mean Streak is the most beautiful piece of crap ever constructed. It's setting on the lake and it's overall imposing presence make it the best looking wooden coaster in my opinion.
For steel, I think I would have to say Vortex at PKI. It also looks very imposing when one watches it from the midway.
I must be the only person here who doesn't care for the way Millennium Force looks. Personally, I think the lift hill is ugly with its relative lack of supports and its 45 degree incline. The lights at night are really cool though.
Well as my screen name probably indicates SOB in my opinion is the most awsome looking coaster in the world! All that wood,the heighth,it just looks so imposing! And to whoever it was that said it earlier at sun set it looks incredible!As for steel coasters I personaly think The Lochness Monster at BGW cant be beat! The way it sets over the lake pretty much in the middle of the park it is just beautiful!I also have to mention MeanStreak and Volcano the Blast Coaster especially at night when the fire is shooting out of the moutian!
I really like the dueling dragons themeing and the overall look. But I don't like the colors of the coaster tracks. The red and blue colors don't blend well with the rest of the themeing. I would have liked deeper more rich colors rather than so primary.
I think the Mantis is my favorite looking steel coaster and SOB for my favorite wood.
SOB, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, the Power Tower (does that count?), Joker's Jinx, Alpengeist, Shivering Timbers, and Texas Tornado.

#1 Coaster-Incredible Hulk
Probably American Eagle at night time or MF anytime of the day. Night or day. Mean Streak looks very cool too.
-------------
Millennium Force all the way!
Lightning racer seems pretty good looking.
-------------
Phoenix-A great town and a great coaster
Personally, I think Shivering Timbers looks ugly. Those supports that portude from either side of the hills doesn't do anything for me.
S is on the right track! I think Lightning Racer is one of the best looking coasters. Its one long mass of twisting and turning wood. Plus, the Millennium Flyer trains look sooooo sleek on that track. Perhaps the best view of the coaster however is at night, from the lift hill. Rarely have I ever seen soooo many chasing lights going seemingly random directions.
