Pick the best looking to you. It could be a picture or in person what is the best looking to you. I would have to say Dueling Dragons.
----------
Take it for a ride not the car the coaster
If you mean the coaster itself, and not theming, I pick Mean Streak and Son Of Beast. Maybe the actual ride on them is less than stellar, but for pure cool looking, nothing beats a big wooden coaster, espically at sunset.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
I am going to have to go with Millennium Force, Mean Streak, Batman Knight Flight, Alpengeist, and Wildcat(HP). I can't really put them in order, except for Millennium Force being first. Nothing beats seeing a cool blue and shiny silver mountain of goodness while driving down the causeway.

I would have to say either:
-Volcano: TBC @ PKD
-Joker's Jinx @ SFA
I mean, you've got a coaster that comes vertically out of a mountain and a coaster that looks like a tornado hit a hypercoaster! They both look great!

Veni, vidi, coasteri!
(2000 - PKD, Dollywood, SFA, BGW)
Deuling Dragons! The entrance has two dragons deuling it out. Then you start walking through the line and get fly-bys from the intertwined trains on the inline twist. Then you walk into a medieval castle and hear the story of the dragons. Then you travel into the dungeon and all of a suddened you are there and you pick your dragon. Then you are on one of the best inverts on the planet!

"FEAR the Four!"
Alpengeist, Millennium Force and Mean Streak for sure, with MS probably at the top of the list. Hard to believe that something so beautiful can suck so bad.
Please let's not have another thread in defense of Mean Streak, OK?

I also think that Mean Streak, MF, and any B&M standup (mostly Mantis and Chang) are good looking coasters. The Beast also is a great looking coaster along with his son.

Millennium Force. It's so incredibly breathtaking. The smooth drop down into the overbanked turn is nothing short of awesome, especially from the causeway... and that's during the day. At night, that sucker lights up to be one of the most surreal, astonishing, and beautiful manmade things I've ever seen. Hell, to me it tops some of the natural wonders I've seen.
Mean Streak is also a pretty ride, but Shivering Timbers, although it's not the cleanest looking coaster, nor is it in the best setting, it's just so easy on the eyes. Especially when you're sitting in the parking lot watching a train run the whole circuit.

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
Colossus at SFMM is a very beautiful coaster. If they would replace the double down and give it a fresh coast of paint it would look even better.
Top 5 Best Looking Coasters:
1. Millenium Force
2. Mean Streak
3. Dueling Dragons
4. Volcano: The Blast Coaster
5. Alpengeist, Raptor, Mantis
MF or Mean Streak by far!

From pictures I'd have to say Batman Knight Flight and Mean Streak. In real life, I have no idea.

You build it, I'll ride it
I'd hafta say Alpengeist, Kumba, and Anaconda (Giovanola Invert at Gold Reef City), Anaconda being the best by far. I just love how it wraps around the side of a mountain...
Also Montu at BGT. Awesome theming too

Six Flags Great Adventure rules.....well... on weekdays that is
MF, without a doubt! When they fisrt announced the construction, I just looked at the drawing of MF and marveled at it's bueaty. It's even better in person. The turn-around is spectacular, because of its symmetry and the way the "fingers" grip the track. I think the best view of the ride is on the return lagoon hill, because you can see the whole lift hill, if you look up.
Mean Streak is the best looking wooden coaster.
Tough one. I like classic designs. I'd have to say the Racer at Kennywood. With the restored facade there's nothing else like it.
Nothing says beauty more than the great John Allen classics. Great American Scream Machine comes to mind, all that red, white and blue. And that reflection in the lake is incredible.

Say no, to lap bar nazis!
Well, nothing can compare with the loop on Revolution at Magic Mountain. As far as color schemes go I will have to vote for Goliath, Texas Tornado or Volcano. Wooden coasters on my list are Mean Streak, Boulder Dash, and Roar.

LONG LIVE ARROW DYNAMICS!!
Space Mountain at WDW.
The white dome.
But, I love that queue line, it is just too cool!
