Best Atmosphere At A Park.

This isn't for best coasters, rides, or food. I'm talking about the parks that you have a great time at by just walking around taking in the suroundings and over all feel of the park.
Idlewild is still a small park with lots of trees and gravel paths. To me it didn't feel like I had to run to this ride then run to that ride to try to get my moneys worth. It just has a relaxed feel to it. They have a collection of basic rides Ferris Wheel, Caterpillar, Spider, Tilt A Whirl, Carousel, Paratroopers, and a few kiddie rides.
It was a fun park to go to.

CP has a decent atmosphere, just to be there you know? But BGW, that is like amazing, kudos to IOA too.

Disneyland. NOW we are done, next question.

Gotta ride 'em all!
Islands of Adevnture
I agree with Soggy, nothing beats Disneyland for theme park magic and atmosphere, ask anybody who's walked under the train station entrance, leaving the "real" world behind(it's like walking into a real live 3D fantasy world!).
Disneyland of course... Smack dab in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world, and you don't even realize it. Now that's atmosphere!
I'm gonna have to go with Hersheypark. The "Greenest" Park, friendly atmoshpere. Ride ops like therejob and like to talk to you while your waiting. Nice scenery. Overall a friendly atmosphere.

Agreed with Disneyworld until we went to IOA!!Hopefully I'll change my mind when we do our two park weekend in July,(Kennywood and knoebels).Always looking for that better atmosphere.

My favorite for atmosphere is Knoebels.

Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
I thought BGT had a good atmosphere. It felt like you were in Africa.

3 MF rides:
3-2, 5-1, 9-2
Seeing as though you did not say amusement parks, I can say any park. So my favorite only has two rides and they both suck. Well one is cool anyway. So the best atmosphere in a park is the San Diego Zoo. First off it has the best weather in the world and is just chuck full of awesome vegetation. Not to maention all the cool animals. Easy to kick back and watch things go by.

But I will agree Disneyland does have a great atmosphere. And by the way, Anaheim is not one of the largest cities in the world. Haha.

"May the Force be with you"
For me, it is between KW and BGW. Both parks are beautiful and are great places to just sit on a bench and take it all in. Even though KW is my home park, I probably have to give the nod to BGW for the abundance of beautiful landscaping and attractive buildings. Can't be beat.
Hershey
Because its really cozy and freindly ther aren't many lines either there is alot of trees
Don't forget at Hershey the air smells like melted chocolate.
Gosh, NOW I CAN'T WAIT to go to Hershey and K-Wood for my first times in July. Best park to me, barring price, in Disneyworld. I have never been to a place more relaxing and childish...I mean, I feel like 12 every time I go...and I'm 32!! CP gets major props though for friendly atmosphere, gardens and greenery.

There's nothing like a woodie...
Def. Idlewild or Kennywood. Both are beautiful and have that classic smell, kinda greasy, kinda sweet.
