Been in or Witnessed an RC accident?

Have any of you buzzers ever witnessed an amusement park accident or have been in one? Also, what is the most ackward coaster or ride situation you have ever been in?

I have never really seen or been in anything major. I was at SFa one time and the belt driving the chain on the Wild One broke and started smoking. I was on the swings when the power went out, and was up there for about half hour. I alos broke down on the backwars side of Rebel Yell going up the lift at PKD. But nothing major.

How about any of you fellow buzzers?

once S:ROS @ sfdl stopped on the lift while I was on it.

I got stuck on Batman: The ride at SFGRAm a few years back for an hour when ComEd was having their "energy" problems. I almost fell asleep sitting there. It was kinda comfortable..lol.

I just saw Deja Vu at SFGAm not running.... Talk about a rollercoaster mistake!!! ;-)

I was there two days after the Boulderdash incident, it just had reopened. Zoomerang was stuck in the boomerang element, that was kinda cool looking because it was just sitting there.

I've been stuck on coasters a few times, but the worst coaster injury I've seen was an ear bleeding after a girl didn't pay attention to the signs and verbal warnings that said to remove earrings before riding the Chiller.

I have seen a park patron being treated by paramedics while unconcious, but that was not ride related.

I saw Wildcat at CP valley...the next car came down and slammed into it...They had to get people manually push the cars back without the people on them.

About injuries, I have a scar behind my ear from Drachen Fire....should've listened to the signs that said to take out the earrings.

And getting stuck on coasters, Georgia Scorcher at the top of the lift, Kumba on the brake run in the rain, and Montu on the mid course brakes for about 20-30 minutes baking in the sun.

The worst that's ever happened to me was getting stopped on the lift hill on the Beast or getting stuck in the brake run on Steel Force. I was at Kennywood the day after the Thunderbolt accident but I've never witnessed any actual coaster accident.

I got stuck at the brakes on mf and in the station on shivering timbers. Thats it though. Never been on any others. Seen a lot of break downs though

...still thinking that the whole Deja Vu fiasco DEFINES a coaster "accident"...;). Only stuff I've ever seen was rides getting e-stopped and such...

BTW, I did hear from an employee at BGT this weekend that they actually did have a fatality in their park a few years back....apparently the park was having a special event for GTE, and a guest died after having a heart attack on Kumba....I had mistakenly thought Busch was lucky enough to avoid any fatalities....not really a coaster accident, but pretty serious nonetheless...

I was at Kennywood the day of the T-Bolt's accident. I actually was about to ride but opted to ride Pittfall instead. I estimated the time from when we pasted by the T-Bolt and when the accident happened and it would've placed me either on the platform or on the ride. Freaky stuff.

I've been stuck on Lifts/Brake runs numerous times. However the most freaky time I ggot stuck on a ride was 3 weeks ago at WOF where Cyclone Sams (a chance wipeout (Not a RC)) stop spining while at a 45 degree angle. So I was stop while that ride was still at the angle they did lower the ride back down to flat and ran the ride again. Earler that same day I was stuck on the Mamba lift so I ended getting stuck on 2 rides that day.

I got stuck on Viper and Raging Bull at SFGAm at the very top. On Raging Bull, you could see the bottom from the front car (which I was in.) It was freaky. I also saw Demon get stuck in it's loop.
