Apparently it's a Holiday World thing... from GOCC:
Note: Holiday World now requires that members of any club wishing to attend "Holiwood Nights" belong to their respective club at a membership level costing $20 or more. Existing US GOCC Single Electronic members who wish to attend "Holiwood Nights" may contact Jason Hammond using the Contact Us form for information on pro-rated upgrading to the next level of membership.
Hi
That's stupid. Either extend the benefit to the club or don't. Seems like a silly restriction, you have to join a club we approve, for this much, or you have to pay them more.
I can't speak for parks, but the problem is that some kid with a website and four members charges those people five bucks and calls it a club. Is that legit? I don't think so, but I have a club that charges $25. :)

Yes it is, for some. (me)
I've been reminded that Shawn Meyer was at BeastBuzz last time anyway, so however he got in, he qualified. Maybe he's a Cbuzz member already.
Shawn?
No I'm still a member of GOCC. You were right also about how I was asking about it in the last post above this post here.

Then the parks have every right to not welcome members of that particular club, or honor their membership toward said event. Instead of putting a $20 or more restriction on it, it seems easier just to list the accepted memberships.
That being said, CB Club seems to be accepted everywhere, so why join anything else? :)
Exactly. I don't think a kid with a $5 club is legit either. So I wouldn't extend thd benefit to them.
Honestly, it might have been me who came up with that requirement for BeastBuzz. I could have said CBC only, but want to be flexible. Because I have to pay for the beer.

Can I create the "ApolloAndy Coaster Club" pay myself $20, print out a card and get in?

No. That would make you an elitist.

I just updated the itinerary a bit... two ERT blocks for Banshee! Should get the link for buying tickets later today.

I'm looking forward to being stuck in Texas, yet again.
