BeastBuzz 2014

Unfortunately, I will not be in attendance either.

If everyone has even half as much fun as we did last year, y'all should be in good shape.

I'm on my way to BeastBuzz. Hopefully my wife does not go into labor today.

Dale, how far are you away from her in case she does? Just curious.

I hope you all have a great time today. I wish I could be there to finally meet a few of you but I'm stuck in the office today. I can't wait to hear how much fun I missed out on.

Had to bail from the park after dinner, but the morning and afternoon Beastbuzz events were awesome. Super E-RT in the morning with as many Banshee and Diamondback rides as you could handle. I would expect the ERT this evening to be similar.

My wife and I had a great time at BeastBuzz and met some great people in the club.
Thanks for a great event!

It is exactly an hour drive from our house to Kings Island but it only would have been a 30 minute drive to the hospital. I called her a few times during the day to check in, but still no baby.

Beast Buzz was once again awesome. It was great to see some old and new faces at the event. Thanks to Jeff and Kings Island for setting up such a wonderful event.

My wife and I had a great time. Thanks to Jeff and Kings Island for making it all happen.

I spoke with Don in the restaurant before the fireworks and he said that they could possibly be looking to put together some behind-the-scenes tours of their offseason maintanence work. He said it would likely be for charity and that it could happen either the weekend before or the weekend after the Super Bowl. Just a heads up for those that might be intersted in something like that (I definitely would be). I'm sure if it does come to fruition Jeff will be notified.

Our first BeastBuzz, it was outstanding. I don't think we have ever spent 15+ hours nonstop in any park before. Thank you to Jeff, Don, and of course all of the crews at Kings Island for a great event.

Is it too late to get tickets?

Hi

Yeah... No issue with diamondback at all. If you are asking because of the seatbelts, they make no difference. If you were able to ride before they were added, you will fit fine with the belts. They don't take away from any of the airtime as well. I did not even notice them at all.

That was some seriously awesome ert the other day. Huge thanks to Jeff, Don and whoever else was involved in setting this up.

Had a great time Saturday! Thank you Jeff, CoasterBuzz, Kings Island and everyone who helped put this event together!

ERT on Banshee and the Beast was fantastic! Hadn't been on the Beast at night in YEARS and wow, what a ride it is! Love the music and recording that plays on the lifts.

Banshee is one of my favorites, so I always love getting as many rides as possible on it. It is such a visually beautiful ride as well.

The reserved seats for Cirque Imagine was a nice perk, really great show!

Thanks to everyone on here who mentioned that Stricker's Grove would be open Sunday. It's a nice little park with some fun coasters, glad we got to visit.

I would add that the Diamondback seatbelts do not seem to affect dispatch times. They consistently had a train on the lift as one splashed. And the Banshee crew... wow. Ops at KI are night and day compared to a few years ago. Really great crews.

Absolutely. I remember during the night ERT our train just about kept rolling straight through the brake run and into the station - that's how fast they were dispatching.

I've been very impressed with KI's employees for the last couple of years. They gave off zero animosity over us snobs keeping them at work for an extra two hours.

By the way, did anyone else feel that Banshee's post-zero-g-roll trim wasn't grabbing at all? As if the back half needed the extra jolt.

Flying solo, wasn't sure what to expect but....I had a fantastic time. Met and hung out with some great people, and the ERT was beyond amazing -- yeah, those Banshee ops were hauling. Again, huge thanks to Jeff and the folks at Kings Island for an epic day!

"We need more 'Bort' license plates in the gift shop. I repeat, we are sold out of 'Bort' license plates."

Was a great event. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. Hope to be back again.

There's a trim on Banshee? Did it run opening weekend? I don't remember that at all.

Yes, if I remember correctly its down the big terrain hill in the back, after the zero g roll. I think that morning, due to the cold, the trains were running slow enough that the trim wasn't noticeable. Later on that day when everything warmed up we could feel it grab just slightly.
