BeastBuzz 2006 Update

I'm just glad we were able to get Dropzone & Delirium back in the ERT for '06. Thoses rides are so hard to get to during regular business hours, (unless you're fortunate enough to nab a couple gold pass tickets!). FOF! I love that thing, (What is it...10 years old now? IMO it just gets better with age). And then we finish it off with daddy.

We went by PKI today and Great Wolf is looking real nice. As mentioned earlier in the week, the resorts exterior is seeing, moreless, it's final touches. Working up from Top Gun toward the main road they're installing the logs to the hotels side. And the indoor waterparks framework is now going up too. Down at Nik Universe you can now see Avatar's bright blue structure in the foreground of Runaway Reptar. Looking forward to PKI '06!!

Just to clarify a little, PKI isn't getting a Disk'O Coaster they are getting a Skater Coaster. The Disk'O Coaster is going to PGA. The Skater Coaster doesn't have a round disk on it--it's elongated like a skateboard. It's more like a souped-up adult-version rockin' tug with a speed bump in the middle of the track.

It's a good thing you guys are getting ERT, because to fully appreciate the ride you will need to ride it more than a few times. The ride experience near the center of the skateboard will be different from the experience out near the ends of the skateboard.

Maureen said it was a Disk-O variant.

I need to get the registration flyer up, I know. I'm slacking. Pricing will be either the same or within a couple of bucks of last year. Exploring some dining options now.

Bump up the food and you may have a few coming from this house.

What if there was beer? :)

Duuuuuuuuuude.... Now we're talking. I obviously don't know what kind of deal you're working out, (Free would be nice. ;)), but I would be more than willing to throw down the bucks. Anything has to be cheaper than the price in the park.

Is lunch going to be in the International Restaurant or back at the Picnic Grove this time around?

Not sure.

I would make the beer an optional add-on for those of us adults who dont drink (and kids).
Beer is always good. I'm willing to down a few for a fair price. But free beer is always better.......;)

You won't see me coming...

My wife would say the same thing Coy

I would definitely be down for even discounted beer prices. I did have one question though, what were the prices like last year for the event? I went to PKI for the first time last year and loved it (except being too crowded because of Labor day Weekend and the National Cheerleading Championships). What are the crowds usually like on a Saturday in mid-June?
To me, about the same minus the cheerleading championships! But seriously, PKI isn't like it was 6-8 years ago when there were days crowds were low. It's pretty busy all the time anymore. PKI's location gives it prime business from four different states, and is becoming more of a destination each season for further distances.

The big plus with Beastbuzz is the ERT's. You get smaller lines for the very best rides in the park. And the ones you don't get on ERT, you hit up during the day. You'll get paid back for your patience during the afternoon waits, by being a part of the ERT.
