Badnitrus is moving to Casterbuzz

Yup I just looked a Badnitrus's site after seeing Danimation's sad announcement and on the What's New page, they announced that they are moving to Coasterbuzz. :)

I just tried to go on the new site and could not get "access" to it.  Is in not up yet or does AOL suck more then I thought.  And thank you Jeff for keeping this great site going.

Thanks to all involved in bringing Badnitrus to coasterbuzz. You were always the only reason to visit Danimation.

Hypersonic..... indeed.
I've given up on Badnitrus, they never update anymore and they have so many unfinished coasters it drives me nuts!
SFGAMDie HARD, I would assume it's hard to complete multiple coaster models at the same time.  Give Keith some time, I'm sure he'll get around to finishing them all...

But that is very good news, indeed.  The server is much faster here.  Glad to see another coaster site coming here...

God forbid a anyone who provides something for free for your enjoyment doesn't do it regularly. It's ungrateful little bastards who make comments like those that make sites like Danimation (and many others) shut down.

Just for once I'd like to see people say "thank you" for anything that any Webmaster does, regardless of its scope or update frequency. There is more crap on the Internet than there is quality. Be glad these are two guys who focus on the quality.

Thank you Jeff and Keith

But with what Dan said (danimation) I worry about this site. I don't want this site to close because I come to this site and Guide to the Point more than anything. I hope that because this site is about coasters in general (and not just RCT like Danimation) that it will be here for a long time. I just worry.

Ditto, Jephry. I could never do the amazing animations they can do. Same goes for the mods on this site, thanks for your time to make this site so great.

You've made one of the largest and most popular rollercoaster websites on the internet while spending your own money on extreme hosting bills and probably taken a lot of time away from your family to allow us to enjoy it.
Thanks Jeff
Webmasters just aren't given enough credit.

Perhaps it's again time to show people the Libera Manifesto. Next time you decide to cry about the way some free site works, read this first.

Web sites may not be free forever, kiddies, so you better enjoy what you've got now. It's been a bad year for coaster sites.

SFGAMDie HARD, maybe you should have checked their site recently. They updated the Batman Knight Flight animation with an absolutely stunning 3rd-person animation. Keith updated his model of the Crystal Beach Cyclone with new renderings. The reason They hadn't updated for about a month was because Keith had mono, and between holding a job and doing homework, working on animations wasn't exactly on the top of his list.

He's not charging a service fee for his site, just be thankful that he doesn't shut his site down.

By the way, thank you Jeff, Keith, Mike and Chris.

Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

SFGAMDie HARD do you even know how long it takes to make a 10 second 3d movie.  Try about 3 hours of just rendering it.  I've worked with 3d studio max many times, and it is a VERY hard program to deal with.  You might think the coaster looks good but after you render it, boy it sure can change.  Give them a break, what they have done is amazing!
I completely agree with Jeff and everyone else who is thankful for what webmasters have to offer us enthusiasts.

People like Jeff that run Coasterbuzz, as well as those who run/have run Screamscape, Thrillride!, Danimation, and the rest owe us NOTHING.  These people devote their time, energy, and money to things that are a reflection of their interests, AND have the decency to share it with the rest of us.  Anything they have to offer us, whether it be a site that has weekly updates to its rumors section, or just a site that features a small handful of pictures from a well-known theme park, is certainly appreciated by yours truly.  I am especially defensive of the guys who run Badnitrus- I can't even begin to imagine how much time it took them to LEARN what they do, let alone the time it takes them to model each coaster from scratch.  I would be more than willing to pay to download each of their masterpieces, but they let us do it for free!

To all of the webmasters out there... Jeff Putz... Lance Hart... Robert Coker... and the hundreds I am missing but appreciate more than words can say...

Thank you for providing us enthusiasts with everything that you do.  Speaking for many people, I can say that your work is truly appreciated.

Just wondering, was this aimed at me? I wasn't being sarcastic.

YAY! Badnitrus is, like, my favorite coaster site (aside from CB of course ;)). I'm so glad that my two favorite sites have converged.
