As the publisher of POP Forums, do you REALLY want a skyscraper for "vBulletin, the ultimate community solution" on your site?

hehe, you can also add in the AOL v6.0 ad. I thought that jeff hated pop-up blockers (and was at one point considering blocking all AOL users, or something like that), so why advertise that.

I think AOL is the least of his worries, anybody remember the Earthlink ads. First thing you saw was "pop-up blocker built-in."

Actually, no it's not. I've been to your site, and I absolutely LOATHE your forums. What's the point of conversation when it takes 5 minutes for all the freaking avitars, smileys, banners, and other misc images to load?

vBulletin is a really nice set up. The Reputation system built in to its newest version (3) is a blast and a sure fire way of beating down the insolent people :) All it takes is a glance at the person's user information to reveal that you're dealing with a complete imbecile -- a skill that used to need careful honing.

One of the things I added to v7 was a sort of warning point system, similar to what you have on AIM. That way, there's some recourse for moderators outside of outright banning. I've also added friends lists, avatars and all of that nonsense, but all of that won't be included in the "classic" UI that ships with it. There will probably be a full-featured UI as well, but it won't be in use here.

Maybe your lazy butt should register. ;) You can shut off everything graphic including signatures, posted images and smilies, and member's avatars from the UserCP.

I'm with SFNE Freak. Invision Power Board is pretty awesome. Just because it has 90 Million Features doesn't mean you have to use *all* of them, though. (hint, hint)
