The ad section on the right side of the forums isn't playing nice with the profile menu, covering up the lower part of it. Multiple refreshes and different topics didn't fix it (it's doing it on this create topic page, too). Regardless of what ad is showing in that spot, the behavior is the same.
Current Chrome on Win10.
Thanks, good spot. I'll get that fixed today. It's one of the few customizations I have to keep track of on CB and missed.

Is this operating as intended? Feels like the ad sizes have tripled which deforms the page structure, somewhat.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
That's weird. Google must be drunk. If you encounter that, click the little x and choose "this ad blocks content."

I'm pretty sure ad selection is based on your browsing history....
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Maybe there is a correlation between Menards (big box hardware store) and Adam & Eve? I have spent the last few weeks on Menards' website figuring out a remodel project. Maybe it sensed how manly I must be.
And the current ad is for lipstick that was developed for 40+ year old women.
Maybe it knows something that I do not?
I wish I knew if it was the ad or just the box...interstitial, something about "king of bitcoin ATMs" and not much else...I couldn't find a close button or, for that matter, anything else I could interact with. Go back, then reselect the link skips it, so not a huge deal; I suspect it's got a close button that's hanging off below the bottom of my (very large) screen.

The pop-up ad that you have to close to continue on? I have found that with those, if you just click anywhere off the pop-up, it closes and brings up the page you were headed to. If we are talking about the same thing, try that next time.

That it what I am experiencing although on an iPad those ads take up the white frame so there is no way to click off, but going back works.
Ahh ok. I am using a desktop and while it does take up almost the whole screen, I still have a sliver to click off of its

That kind of stuff doesn't usually get past Google, but I think I was able to block it.
