An elusive baboon was spotted in a full run early this afternoon, headed south from the area the primate was spotted earlier on Friday, police said. A team from Six Flags Great Adventure is assisting in the capture of the animal, but can't confirm yet that it belongs to them.

We are now making fun of Jersey culture via the show "Jersey Shore" b/c everyone from Jersey is the same. "It's a Jersey thing." (I'm poking fun and being sarcastic.) On that show, the people have super hard pointy hair, etc., basically - looks like they use alot of hair product. And they have orange skin, too. Like an Orangutang, not to be confused with the red anus Baboon lurking around the Six Flags park.

I understood what you meant..I'm FROM Jersey. But I'm bald, so hair gel isn't very important to me.

Perhaps it was looking for lodging for the night.

Seriously though, if it isn't from Great Adventure, where could it be from?

You from Joisey? I'm from Joisey! What exit?
(and us bald ones don't need hair gel.. just something with SPF 100 in it)

I gotta little bone to pick with Jersey.
When I was there in June, we stayed in a beautiful cabin, right down the road from Great Adventure (OMG, there's lodging there!) and it was in the woods. There were some spiders around, and normally, I'm VERY afraid of spiders - since it was such a beautiful spot in the woods, I figured it was OK to let them live, and I even had to brush one of their webs out of the way in the door.
They were neat looking spiders, too - it was only once we left that I Googled them and found out that Jersey has Northern Black Widows... I almost touched that damn thing, too. (usually, Black Widows are my most feared spider, but these didn't look like them as much, the red spots and white stripes didn't give it away, I guess).
In any case, next time I camp, I'm bringing Ortho Home Defense Max.

You just guaranteed I won't be staying in any kind of woodland/rustic lodging if I'm ever in NJ! I absolutely, positively hate spiders, of any kind. The only ones I consider brushing away are the "daddy long legs," but even that is very rare.
If you hate spiders, you definitely do not want to know what venture under Blue Streak's station. I was unlucky enough to have to get under there a few times to fish out stuff, and it was a veritable who's who of big, creepy crawlies.

I live in a townhouse in suburban northern VA and I've killed a black widow in my bathroom and two copperheads in my front yard. Jersey doesn't sound too bad...
Josh, stay away from Paddlewheel Excursions at Cedar Point at night time. The spiders hide in the darkness, and a shining a flashlight on the "ceiling" of the boat might cause someone to jump overboard.

I don't know what's worse. That I got the reference or that someone else did too?
