Atlantis

What do you think about an Atlantis Theme Park?

Six Flags had an Atlantis waterpark

Yeah and there is an Atlantis Hotel but what about a whole atlantis theme park? That symbolized the real atlantis?

So you believe Atlantis was real?

How about this Atlantis Virtual Theme Park concept?

I have been to that site before, it is neat, but wouldn't it be better to experience it first hand?

I just want to know if people would be interested in an atlantis theme park?

I think it would depend on what the park had to offer.

Oh, that gave me a good laugh Lord Gonchar.

If they had coasters and bumper cars that worked I would go.

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.
Forget Atlantis.. I want to see someone build the amusement park in Lincoln Child's "Utopia" (The book that just came out last year about an amusement park, NOT the classic one)

"Life's What You Make It, So Let's Make It Rock!"
so, are we talking about Atlantis before or after it disappeared into the Sea?

I can see it now, "Atlantis Parks L.P. and Atlantis Themepark will not be held liable for any loss or damage to any underwater breathing apperatus while on this attraction."

It would be Atlantis re-rising.

If you're looking for rides to go with the theme of "rising" you can't go wrong with M:TR ;)
I would love to see an atlantis Theme park. I love the mystery of Atlantis, and the technology that they had that was more advanced then we are today!

With the right location, right theming, right ride selection, right pricing, and employees with the right attitude I don't see why an Atlantic-themed park couldn't succeed.

You're so diplomatic Moosh. :)

(still amused that Atlantis is being referred to as a real place in this thread)

You have proof it wasn't real? ;)
I firmly believe there was an Atlantis. Now, wheather that was a refrence to another place known by other things, or an island that was buried by the sea, a volcano, etc., I dont' know. But I do believe that it was a real place.

As to how advanced their civilization was and all of that, I have my doubts. But I don't doubt it was a real place in some form.

This coming from a guy that firmly believes we've never landed on the moon, though, so decide for yourself:).

I believe we've never landed on the sun.

(Not even the people who tried going at night since it's cooler ;))

I believe I never landed on the moon. As far as other folks, I'll take that debate with you anyday Tekno. Maybe not on this board though :)
