I'd buy it if it is ¢99, and not a penny more, just to ease my curiosity. It looks like crap.

The only similarity to the original is that it's in 2-D. That game is in-app purchase central! If you design a roller coaster, you then have to click "build" and wait a certain amount of time for it to be finished. Of course, if you don't want to wait, you can spend tickets and make it instant.
It's absolutely no different from any other of the pay-to-win games out there.
I wouldn't spend a cent on the RCT mobile game. I would rather buy another copy of RCT 1 or 2 at Half Priced Books despite having two copies laying around (somewhere). Never been tempted to buy RCT3 for a few bucks. And will never be tempted to buy RCT4. If Atari is reading this, I relish the old-school Chris Sawyer isometric graphics and gameplay over graphics (the kind of games that you played all night 'till 3 am in the morning). Unfortunately, I realize this era of computer gaming has been over for at least a decade.
