Seriously, it is not as fun as the "old" style RCT was IMO.

After a little bit of playing, it definately is no where as good as RCT2, in my opinion.

This is only one level so im not expecting much
does it have fire works?

plays well, plays very well. well down to atari for this master peice... love the coaster cam. still havin a little problems wif some of the ride making (havn't been able to add the station to my woody coz i havn't been able to find it lol).

The fireworks are amense as well

sounds are good as well

Well I have downloaded the Demo and I cant play it because it says Assertion Failure:c\coding\FGDK3\code\windows\GE_Surface.cpp(246):Invalid Call. Does any body no what that means, or how I can fix it so I can play it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the same message so I uninstalled it. I haven't been able to find anything to help me out.

As I've said before... I can bet it's because of old crusty video drivers.

I can't get it to run on my computer either. I get an error report everytime.

Does anybody know what the hardware reqs are for running the demo?

Sean...what video card do you have in your machine? The head of Frontier just posted a message that said the Assertion error is due to a video card that will not work with RCT3.

I'm afraid it means your graphics card is below the minimum spec. and can't play the demo. Sorry. Apologies for the ugliness of this message. We did (until recently) have a check for the minimum-spec machine, and refused to run - but we removed this when we found some machines that were OK even though they were technically below it.

I'm very disappointed with this demo/game. I actually was planning to buy it but now I'm unsure. I don't see why they even dared to use the title Roller Coaster Tycoon, a title which over the last 5 years earned it’s respect which was just ruined with RCT3. They should have named it something else. I wouldn't even call this better then Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Very disappointed.... Chris Sawyer if you reading this, please, drop Frontier and make Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.5 or something, please.

I can't seem to download it, I click the link and the only thing that comes up is a page that says download now, and none of the graphics on the page load. Can anyone help me??
