Oh, but Jeremy - it's been far too long since we've had a decent, constructive argument!

I will agree with the comments of others in this post.  My gripes about this latest Arrow project are that they're calling it a "Virginia Reel" when it *hardly* resembles the ride from which it takes its name.  I'd rather take the proven Mack and Reverchon rides.
As for my comments towards Craig (the Coaster Freak), I appologize if you took them as me flaming/bashing you.  It wasn't meant to read like that.  :-)

IMO we're not going to see anybody build an old style Virginia Reel. A ride where you sit in a round car on casters that is released down a zig-zag track with absolutely no control over it untill it hits the brakes at the bottom? This the same problem they ran into trying to replicate the Flying Turns. The insurance companies will just not permit it. It's one thing if it's an existing ride. A lot of old woodies fall into this description. The parks wind up paying a higher rate on them. But to build a new one, neither the parks liability underwriter, or the builders for that matter would go for it.
