Are you an airtime person, or an intensity person

Just for a quick survey, which do you enjoy more?

Myself, I LOVE intensity, whether it be extreme G-Forces, sudden changes in direction, or gteat inversions.

On the other hand, there is also intense airtime, lol.

How much more floorless can they get?

why not both?

Yeah...what's so bad about both?  Say, Millennium force or S:ROS at SFNE?

Or the raven, the legend, the boss, the villain, etc....

why make life complicated, you do not need to choose between the two but you can enjoy both. They go together quite nicely!!

The world's a roller coaster and I am not strapped in, maybe I should hold with care, But My hands are busy in the air- Incubus
Ghostrider has both
Putz and everyone else on GTTP call me an "airtime whore"

I'd have to say I prefer intensity, although with that, you usually get a little air.  I would have to agree on Ghostrider.  My personal favorite ride, and it has tons of both, with significant 'ejector':) airtime.

All about me!

both...SROS @ SFNE :)
If I had to pick one it would be airtime. Both however are possible on a well designed ride.

SFGadv Please I'm begging for a Gyro Drop tower and an ArrowBatic.
I'm a speed person myself.  Airtime is nice for me, but not everything.

Dan, with 2166 "trysts", no wonder they call you an airtime whore...LOL!  But I'll agree with those who say both...S:RoS (SFA only one so far).  For pure air, Phoenix.  For pure intensity, Schwarzkopf shuttle loops followed closely by Goliath's powerful heeee-lixxxx...

I'll take intensity over airtime anyday. I love to scream rather than flying out of my seat. I'm not saying that I don't like the occasional "Tummy-Tickling drop" but I like G-pulling turns and tight drops.

To answer the topic question: Confused.

My two favorite coasters are: 1. Millenium Force and 2. Vertical Velocity at SFGAM (and to all you Bull fans yes I did ride the Bull, and yes it was fun, but I liked Wild Thing better) Millenium Force offered some nice airtime while cruisin at a decent clip, while V2 was a pure adrenaline shot.

However, I was partial to Viper at SFGAM due to the hidden air (Viper is a wonderful wonderful coaster.  I can't stop singing the praises) so I spose that'd put me in the airtime category.

So quite frankly I have no idea.  Its all fun.  Know what I mean?

Just wait till next year!

Choose one...are you crazy? :)  I prefer coasters like S:ROS @ SFNE and Phoenix at Knoebel's...intense and full of air!

I used to prefer speed and intensity, but over the past couple of years, my tastes have tended to airtime. Speed by itself no longer interests me at all.

Of course, I'm looking forward to broadening my coaster horizens next year (hoping to ride over a hundred new coasters next year :) ), so my answer may change...

I can't choose between them. I love the intensity of MF, but the airtime I got on Shivering Timbers was like nothing I've ever experienced. I'm looking forward to riding my first impulse, which I would imagine will have both.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

If the coaster just goes up and down, up and down, I tend to just be like "ehh" (that's the only thing stopping me from breaking hell and high water to get to the Timbers). What I really want is a ride that will toss me around a bit, suprise me with a few tricks, make me get my buut out the seat once or twice, and almost make me black out. That's not asking for too much is it?

Anyway, based on the above, you might be able to understand why I so much want to ride Titan...

I like both but like airtime a little more.  I love Phoenix for the "soft" air but Phantom's Revenge is 'da bomb for "intense" air.  PR is just brutal sitting in the back, especially  44 rides in a row.  Right Greg?

Christ how do you kids do it
I'm a "coaster person," so I like both, which would explain my infatuation with The Legend:  Extreme intensity and a couple good "pops" of airtime.
