Are there any Coasters you think are dangerous??

With Rep. Ma larkey badgering about Brain injuries, the safety crowd is ignoring the area of the body that does get abuse from some coasters and that is the spine. I'm sure everyone who has ridden alot of coasters has ended up with a sore back, neck or ribs at one time or another. So are there any rides that you think are a lawsuit waiting to happen because they are extremely rough or jerky?

I have my nominee, Orient Express at WOF. I never rode Drachenfire, but it was torn down for a reason and that was roughness and jerkiness. If DF was anything like OE is today then I understand why it was torn down. I rode OE one time last year and I came off groning and my girlfriend and 2 teenage girls in front of us came off the ride crying from ear abuse and neck pain. How long can some of these Arrow loopers stay around in this highly litigious society?

Sorry about the topic, but with Ma larkey around it has to be discussed.

I can't be bargained with, I can't be reasoned with, I don't feel pity or remorse or fear and I will not stop EVER until I have ridden them all.

Lakemonts Little Leaper almost killed Kneemeister when the restraint flew to pieces. If I wouldn't have grabbed him when he was 2/3's of the way out of the train he would have been out either on his head or impaled upon a fence post.

Fun Spot's Zyklon apparently has a reputation for unscheduled meetings in the station. I'm sure MooreOn will be along soon enough to fill you guys in- whiplash or not.

The whole Fun Spot and Lakemont deal really makes me weary of tiny parks like them. But I'll take my chances on Afterburner, being only 30 mins away is just too much fun to pass up.

Thrillville's Ripper is headed there, if action isn't taken soon. It gets scarier every year. I never had a problem at SCBB, but it's health has deteriorated noticeably the last few season's in Turner, OR.

Kind of a shame considering where it came from..............

Wait? What was that? Did you say Desperado? Huh? Broken ribs, whiplash, bruises, and bloody noses? NO WAY!

i feel The Chiller is unsafe. But that factor adds so much to the ride.

Well I fear for my life on every roller coaster. I almost died on the Raging Bull. I once broke my leg on Magnum and oh yea, hit my head on the restraint once on some ride and then passed out. I feel all rides are unsafe and are extremely dangerous.

Why? I thought the ride was a lot of fun when I rode it in 2001. Has it gotten rough again or something? It was extremely smooth then. Or is it something that you just don't like about it?!?!?

Goblins and furies, old friends and new, blow on a horn so we’ll know that it’s you.

Blue Streak at CLP, that coaster looks like it's ready to come tumbleing down any sec. Oh, those trees make very good 'hand choppers', and I do mean they can take a hand or two off if you put your hands in the air.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

I agree about Psyclone at SFMM... just gives you bruises and disarranges your bones.
Texas Tornado at Astroworld, that's now going to be Zonga at SFMW has problems with it's spikes on the vertical G-force scale.
They say they're going to do something about it, but what may they do about that but spoil the ride experience?

*I've been on SLC's that are very dangerous.

*My friend and I took a trip to Cedar Point one day. We rode Blue Streak and my friend's lap bar flew open! I'm serious, it really opened. The strange thing was it locked back into place before we returned to the station.

*I didn't ride it but in the past few years, the Canfield Fair has had a wild mouse portable. Many people that have expereinced it said it was flimsy.

A word and an acronym....Viper, SFGAdv. I have never been in so much pain after a ride in my life. Hercules at Dorney Park came close, but not close enough.
