WHAT'S THE MATTER COLONEL SANDERS? CHICKEN!?
I have heard that Racer at Paramount's Kings Island is haunted by the spirit of a little boy. From what I can remember, he is usually seen after hours, running through and around the Racer's supports. In one of the stories I read, the boy was said to be blonde with a read and white striped shirt.
I have heard that The Beast, also at Paramount's Kings Island, is haunted as well. There is a fictional book about it, by R.L. Stine, the man who writes the Goosebumps and Fear Street series. I doubt that the ride is haunted, just that people have read the book and twisted it with reality.
As for the roller coaster that is no longer standing, I know what you are talking about, however, I don't know which coaster or where it is. I think it might have been at Coney Island, New York. I think the story goes that the coaster ( which ever one it may have been ) once had an observation tower located in the center of it's layout, and it was torn down a while before the coaster was. It is said that someone's spirit ( I think I heard that it was the designer of the coaster ) haunts the area where the observation tower was.
Does anyone else have any information?

Yeah, that is the coaster with the tower. It is said the designer died before the ride was built and he remained up in the tower looking over his creation.
I don't believe the Racer is haunted. I've heard the stories, just don't believe them. The tower on the other hand is haunted. Ever been in the park around 1-2am with barely any lights, no sound, except for the snapping of the elevator cables when it isn't windy outside?

If I were an artichoke, I'd give you my heart.
Coney Island Tornado being haunted by LaMarcus Thompson. That is the one with the tower in the middle. Closed in the 70s.

I believe the CP carousel you are talking about Dark Saambe is the one now located at Dorney. The "story" I hear is that the horse carver murdered his wife while creating the one horse of the carousel. The "rumored" horse is the only one that has weapons on it. It sits on the outside row and is black.
I never heard of any coaster being haunted before!

That'd be the one! I didn't remember the exact details. I read about it in a thread a LONG tim ago. But you seem to have everything remembered.

Have you been in the park at 11:00 P.M. pitch black in November? Hearing the Racer's lift going while there is no one around or it isn't moving is quite freaky.

SFOT is said to be haunted. Here are some web sites that deal with the SFOT hauntings.

In the Texas Candy Store, which is the oldest building in the park, is the spirit of Annie, a young girl who died in Johnson Creek. She can often be seen walking the railroad tracks or switching the lights on and off in what was her room many years ago. Security staff often reports that when Annie is feeling playful, they have trouble locking up the candy shop at night.
You can go on and on with these sites related to this haunting. Is there any other Amusement Park hauntings this well documented?

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.
One of the rooms at the Breakers at CP is said to be haunted by Mary, but no one ever seems to be willing to talk about it.
The carousel haunting has been debunked, anymore that is. The horse is not even on the carousel at Dorney anymore, its in the Carousel museum in Sandusky. Also I don't belive that there was a murder involved, it was just the favorite horse of the Carvers wife.
The stories of the carousel while at CP all sound quite convincing however.
BTW doesn't it seem ironic that the loacarion of the old Frontiertown Carousel is now converted into a haunted house for every Halloweekends?
