Anyone Ride Xcelerator Yet?

I thought someone would've posted this thread already but since I haven't seen any, I thought I'd do it. Has anyone ridden Xcelerator yet? If so what'd ya think? We're going on a trip to Kbf and Sfmm later on in July so I just wanted to know what to expect. Thanks

The ride opened today at 4 and was simply amazing! The ride never gives up and though it is short it was worth the wait. I waited 45 minutes but the line got over an hour later on. The launch is great, very very very fast. The top hat was soo much fun, seeing the cars in front disappear leaving nothing but you looking at the street below. Definately get out and ride it, smooth, fast, and fun it is.

Kool, I can't wait for our trip out there. I was sort of wondering though, For anyone who has ridden it, how does it compare with Hypersonic at Pkd?

OMG! This ride is just one word, AMAZING!!!! OMG! It was such a rush during that launch it was unreal! Even though you are stapled, you still get airtime! OMG! I'm just ohhh man its like, dude squared! OMG! It was worth all 8 hours I waited. And I got on 2 times in a row! WHOOOO! OMG!

Rode it earlier today. It's a fun, satisfying ride. I only got to ride it twice today, but that was enough to give the thumbs up.

PROS:

Mind blowing launch, by far the best I have ever felt.

Cool summer theming, with the coolest of trains.

The top hat has some very good ejector air and the twisted drop back down is my favorite part of the ride.

CONS:

WAAAAAAAAAAY too short. But we already knew that.

Overbank turns are just flat out boring to me. They are boring on MF and they are boring here.

BE PREPARED..... The ride ops will staple you on this ride like your life depends on it, it's ANNOYING. I know it's for safety reasons, considering what has happened, but that doesn't mean I have to like or accept it. :(

Overall, it's a very good ride, but Ghostrider still rules Knott's.

Was it the line that was 8 hours, or were you sitting next to the entrance all day. How long was the line throughout the day. I've heard no more than 2 hours, and that's a good thing.

No, 8 hours it about right. I waited something like that. Well, I didnt sit there the entire time. I hung around that area waiting for a line to form a little more, then hop in it. It was totaly worth the wait I might add.

No, I waited till the ride opened, I sat there all thru the day until it opened got quite a sunburn too, I can't go outside today :(. So oh well. But man OMG that ride was awsome!!!!!
