Anybody been valleyed?

At this years Winter Coaster Solace At Knott's took a hop down the street to Adventure City. Being the first riders on the Bumper-to-Bumper Freeway we got valleyed twice. It is funny being "stranded" 5' off the ground waiting for the crew to come push you around. Any other rollback/valley stories out there?

Reaching for my 100th in 2001, currently 4(1 if I could add some defunct rides) short, I guess I should have ridden more clones and boomerangs. NAAAAAHHHHH!!
That would have been totally fun. I would have started screaming and making a huge scene just for laughs. I hope I get stuck like that sometime soon.

Gosh people can't you take a joke. Just laugh and get on with life.
I have rolled back on volcanoe at pkd, batman the chiller in the tophat, and on hypersonic xlc! I have vallied on medusa(east),laser at dorney park, apollos chariot at bgw, superman at sfa,and roar at sfa!

Golley! Mr. Papercut, you have terrible luck on rides. That has to be record for rollbacks and valleys. Do you yourself actually cause the rollbacks. Or could you be lying

I was beliving Mr. Papercut, until he continued to list things after XLC... If you want to lie, and be belived, don't over-do it!

I've never been valleyed, but many times I've had coasters valley in Rollercoaster Tycoon!

.. I am sure some of us havn't seen some of his other posts that were deleted....

...anyways, I dont like to critisize people, and its not aprpriate (in most cases) so I will lay off of him...

...back to the topic, no, I have never been valleyed or rolled back on any coaster... ALMOST, ALMOST on Superman: RIde of Steel at S:ROS though, the wind was blowing *REALLY* hard and we were crrrrawwwwwwwwwliiiiiing ever so slowly over the last couple hills of the ride, we almost didnt make it.

Wow...there's a park named S:ROS? Cool!!! I'm just giving you a hard time. ;) I assume you mean SFDL.

I have never valleyed, but I think it would be cool to be valleyed on MF, right by the freaky support, to see if I could reach out and touch it.

SFGAm: SCREAM. THRILL. REPEAT. Two New Coasters in 2001!
This happened to me on the kiddie coaster at SFGAm on 6/12. We were stuck 3 ft above the ground so we made a large scene. My friends were screaming and I joking yelled that this was a lawsuit waiting to happen. ;) Half the car was in the station and we were stuck out of it. I was in the back row.

Though a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop doesn't valley, I rode Tidal Wave (now Viper at SFOG) when it was at Great America immediately following a rainstorm. Whether that had anything to do with it or not, the pulley mechanism slipped about half way out. I could hear and feel the train begin to lose momentum, and sure enough, only the 1st 3rd of the train inverted. We rolled back to the station, with everyone (but me) screaming for their lives. I did my best to explain that they weren't going to die!!!! That's the only time it didn't make it through the loop in all the years I rode it. Had a nice 10 year reunion with it back in April!!

It's really fun to have an out-of-the-ordinary experience on a ride...kind of makes you appreciate all the times it works properly!

Verry funny JOHN DUNHAM!!!!! You got me there!

And I'm going to give Mr. Papercut a reason for having that name if he's lying, although VOLCANO would be more exciting if it DID roll back. Way too slow through the inversions.

Get valleyed on these racing shuttle coasters at a Latin Fair; http://usuarios.tripod.es/latincoasters/id239.htm Lots of big photos, so be patient. The coasters are somewhere in there & check out the spinning coaster which looks MAD!
Valleyed on Superman at MAGIC MOUNTAINS? I LOVE Magic MountainS, but, that ride doesn't have a "valley," ...but we knew what you meant. Anyway, after working at 3 parks for 5 years, the only near rollback I ever had was on the Blue Streak @CP. It caught the rollbacks on the turn-around and we got pushed through by the maintenance team. Then we got to ride it like 12 times to brake it in.

Remember, lies and pride are sins! :) Where's my telephone!?

Hey, ArrowGuy you could be valleyed on a shuttle loop if you have just enough energy to get through the loop foraward only.
