Any other Skyscraper/Turbo Force fans?

In the last three weeks, I have ridden both a Skyscraper and a Zamperla Turbo Force and loved them both. Both rides scared me very badly, and consequently I was yelling very loudly on both. A high capacity (more than 8 seats) version of Turbo Force (since it has OTSR's instead of straps) would be awesome. What are your opinions of these rides?

Intamin Fan,did i see 2hostyl say you were at Sfgadv this week?If so,was it the Turbo Force there that you tried?? I haven't gotten on it yet this year but, hopefully before the season is over.If that is the one you tried, how was it???I heard it went down to $8.00.

I've done both Skyscraper at Dorney, which was $21 for two people, and Turbo Force, which is only $8 a person. What a bargain!

I did Katanga in Orlando last fall, what a rush! The operator manipulated the speed of the ride to flip us over the top (if you tipped him and asked for the "wild ride", that is). The op. was only loading one side, and he would hold you up at the top for a little bit just to emphasize what a tiny little chair you were perched on, way up there. And, on my ride, he parked us at the top, and then went over and physically shook the bottom of the spoke. It felt like an earthquake up at the top and scared the **** out of us!
I have yet to try a Skyscraper, but it's high on my list of thrill rides to do. That and a Skycoaster. What is a Turbo Force? Does anyone have a link to what one looks like? It sounds interesting. :)

Yeah! That looks pretty sweet. That has now also been included on my "must ride one" list. Thanks for the link! :)
I rode the Turbo force thing on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk park and i about peed my pants.,but it was fun.
I WISH I could ride a Skyscraper. But the nearest one's at Dorney and with my old car that's just too far away. Sigh.
I've ridden SkyScraper at Dorney 2 times and Turbo
Force at SFGAdv 8 times and I must say, they are my favorite flat rides! I think that the Turbo Force is better, though. You get a whip effect and flip when you least expect it. It really catches you off guard...and it changes every ride! It all depends on the weight in the car. SkyScraper is awesome too, but you don't get nearly as good of a whip effect.

I've ridden the one in Orlando. WHAT A RUSH! LOL This is my all time fav. flat ride! I was dizzy for like the rest of the day!

Went to the Puyallup Fair last year, and saw there was a Skyscraper there. All day, I kept noticing it sitting on top of the skyline, and all day I kept telling myself I could do it. After riding 2 Skycoasters, I knew this couldn't be any more frightening, but it looked deceptively
fun, and by the end of the day, I and my 9 year old had signed up to ride. They strap us in, and take us backwards, which is the best way to start. I loved it! Intense, but kept you plastered in the seat with all those positive G's.
Then it stopped at the top to unload and load.

MY GOD!

I have never been so frightened...Just scared to death. All that shaking that BaSSiStiSt had mentioned....just horrible. I felt like I was in an earthquake 180 feet up. On top of a Tinker Toy. Nothing in front of me but air. ARGH!

Then the ride moves forward, and I realize that my life is in the hands of nylon strapping that some guy QUICKLY rigged when I boarded. The experience was amazing, and horrific.

I CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!!!!

;)Rollercoasters are like parrots...if you take care of them, they should outlive you;)
My best friend's dad is part owner of the Virginia Beach Amusement Park so we got to ride it for free. In the week that I was there, we rode it 5 or 6 times. Unbelievable! Scarier than any of the 120 roller coasters I've been on! Highly recommended.
Hey Intamin Fan. It's Jon, remember, the guy who kept thanking you for not letting me leave before Batwing opened.

Anyway, I rode the Turbo Force at SFGAdv a few days after our encounter at SFA and also absolutely loved it. It was my second favorite ride there after Medusa. I'm definitely a fan of these types of rides
