Went to the Puyallup Fair last year, and saw there was a Skyscraper there. All day, I kept noticing it sitting on top of the skyline, and all day I kept telling myself I could do it. After riding 2 Skycoasters, I knew this couldn't be any more frightening, but it looked deceptively
fun, and by the end of the day, I and my 9 year old had signed up to ride. They strap us in, and take us backwards, which is the best way to start. I loved it! Intense, but kept you plastered in the seat with all those positive G's.
Then it stopped at the top to unload and load.
MY GOD!
I have never been so frightened...Just scared to death. All that shaking that BaSSiStiSt had mentioned....just horrible. I felt like I was in an earthquake 180 feet up. On top of a Tinker Toy. Nothing in front of me but air. ARGH!
Then the ride moves forward, and I realize that my life is in the hands of nylon strapping that some guy QUICKLY rigged when I boarded. The experience was amazing, and horrific.
I CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!!!!
