No, it has two vertical loops and a sidewinder (half of a boomerang). See:
first vertical loop,
second and third inversions-Nate
Actually, the first inversion, the big loop, is not a verticle loop. At the very top of the element, the trains lean to the left side. It is best felt in the front of the train where one gets the most "hang time", or what ever you call it. Arrow named it "Spiro Loop" or "Loop Screw", but there's really not all that much difference in it and a normal over- sized B&M Loop. *** Edited 11/24/2003 11:14:04 PM UTC by Dukeis#1***
I do not intend to hijack this thread, but, after reading through it I can't help but wonder....why did LNM age so much better than OE did?
I have been on both within the last few years and I agree, LNM has aged well and OE did not.

I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
OE's trains are what the real problem was. If they had bought new ones for the ride, it would have been a lot smoother. For some reason, they didn't fit the gauge as snug as they should have. That being said, it had a few years of neglect as HME was looking to sell off the park. Then it got lost in the shuffle as the "changing of the guard" occurred. That was the Zinger's fate as well.
They did what they could -- it's just that AB's mainteance team has treated nessie like a baby whereas OE was never the flagship coaster of the chain when CF:LP took over, so they treated it like that.
Uh, it's really not Arrow's coaster to sell.

And how exactly do you know this? And who did they sell to? Sorry but until I see some solid proof I'm not believeing it. On the subject on OE, Swoosh has basically nailed it. The trains did cause most of the problems, but you do have to blame a bit on the track.
Okay, I'll make sure to do that ;). *hopes for a new Arrow Looper*
How do you like that? The fool deleted his posts...
I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
Swoosh,
Thanks for the insight. For whatever reason, I hadn't thought much about the trains causing most of the problem.

BGT ain't good enough for you?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Well, the level of customer service that they throw in with your ticket at the Herschend park definitely qualifies as a selling point to this BGT home-parker...to say *nothing* of the fact that BGT's Arrow is laughably bad, while I've heard only great things about Dollywood's TT. (When I visited in '82, the park was still named Silver Dollar City, TT was nowhere to be found, and Arrow was still producing (inducing?) headaches...
Technically, Hersheypark has an Arrow and a GCI also. In fact, they've had both for a while now. Of course that's only if you count Trailblazer... ;)

SFA has a GCI and Arrow as well. I've heard of undridable Arrows, but SFA's takes the cake.
Cue rim shot... ;)

Um...
I don't think SFA has an Arrow anymore. Three Vekomas, but no Arrows.
I want to live where it's all the same.
I want to live where it's all just like today.
I want to live where it's always Saturday.

*knows that everyone will be pleasantly surprised about Dollywood next year , and will rave about the incredibly unique tunnel drop on TT*
Chattanooga needs a ITG2 Machine!
Tennessee Tornado flat out rules. By far my favorite Arrow...currently operating, at least. I still can't decide if I prefer it over Drachen Fire or vice versa. I probably never will, either.

As of the 2002 season the Python is in storage in a field near Superman - Ride of Steel. It can be seen from various points in the park, but is best seen while climbing the lift of Superman - Ride of Steel.
