An image leeching problem...

Now for the real reason I came into the "suggestions" forum, someplace I normally stay out of...and in reality this isn't a suggestion for CoasterBuzz, but rather for Guide to the Point...

Recently in a thread on CoasterBuzz, somebody posted a link to a photo on Guide to the Point, but did so improperly so that those of us who tried to look at the image in question got an 'image leeched from Guide to the Point' error.

Now, since CoasterBuzz and Guide to the Point are running on the same box, or at least on boxes that are very close to each other, and certainly on boxes that are both operated by the same Webmaster, why not allow the two sites to share images? Instead of serving the leech graphic any time the referrer isn't guidetothepoint.com, why not server the leech graphic when the referrer is neither guidetothepoint.com nor coasterbuzz.com?

Or, better still, offer instructions somewhere on the "right" way to build a gallery URL, perhaps by presenting a "URL for this image:" link on the gallery image window (linking to a gallery window containing a particular image is OK; linking to the image itself is !OK)

It's simple... the images need to be displayed in the context of the page. So in the GTTP gallery, they should be linked to via the links provided in the gallery navigation.
