Amusment Industry Dream Job

Friday, April 27, 2001 9:50 PM
If you could have any job within the theme park industry, what would you want? Ride Designer, Park CEO, Ride Tester :), Ride op.....
I would pick Park CEO because it would be great to choose which company you want to design rides for you, and manage everything related to the park.

This is a hard question. IF you pick ride designer then you get to design some really cool rides and make a lot of people happy. IF you pick Park Ceo
then you get to run a park and make a lot of people happy. Ride tester would be fun and ride op would get tiresome but would still be fun. So either way you go your going to have fun and make people happy. You cant go wrong I don't think

I'd take designer. Then I could design those cutting-edge dangerous rides that lots of us want but companies won't build.

I want Paul Ruben's job! :)

I'm going to try to become a roller coaster designer so I guess I'd have to pick that. I think being a ride tester would be sweet!

SFA, I posted before you had yours up--you beat me to it! Dammit!

I am currently in the sophmore year in high school, and I am currently lining myself up to be a coaster designer. I have already designed some good rides (that are practical) and a new concept. If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please email me at mr_t170@onebox.com

Thanks

Ride designer, that is what I will be going to college to be! Maybe someone on here would like to partner up and start a company in later years, by the way, I am 14.
