Oh, I do believe in the Law of Attraction very much. The trick is to know what you want. That's my problem, I never know what I want. It causes a problem just saying that, because it makes it more true. "Unless thing really change for me" is my way of saying "If I could get my brain to stop thinking negative thoughts and make up my mind, I would get further ahead in this world."

I should just write a Law of Attraction how to book already. That's how I could make my millions. :)

Instead of traveling to England, I would rather see a Smiler type ride to be built at a park near me. I have very little desire to travel that far to ride it. Maybe if I had less responsibilities, and finished trying to visit every park in the U.S that I want to visit, then I would move on to parks in other countries.

Honestly, the Smiler isn't even my main reason for wanting to go to Alton Towers. My reason for that would be a certain invert that looks mind-blowingly awesome.

I'd take that a step further and say that Alton Towers isn't even the main reason to visit the UK. I've visited London and a few outlying areas before, but that was prior to knowing about any of the UK parks. But I still want to go back eventually so I could show my family all the historical stuff and points of interest...and maybe visit an amusement park or two if time permitted.

I just checked online to get an idea of how much it would cost for me to fly to England... Between $1,500 and $2,500 one way, and that's just for the flight. lol I can take a week long trip to Pigeon Forge or Orlando for that much.

Travis, you have to do research a little better. I am sure those quotes are for flying out next week. If you book way in advance, you will be able to get flights for $600-800 rt

Well I will be working at Alton Towers this year.. so I have done much research. They still have various parts of the ride that have no been revealed and won't be shown until the first riders experience it. That makes me even more excited

Vater, Im with you. Ive only been to Europe once, but plan on going back. I dont think I would even consider visiting a European park until I felt secure that I had done all of the cultural and natural attractions I am interested in said countries have to offer. I can drive a few hours and ride some amazing coasters here in the US, but can not just go and drive to see London.

Do you have anything nice to say about anything, SheiKraFiend? Debbie Downer? :)

What is the point of commenting on what is positive? It's obvious.

Pointing out both positives and negatives gives your argument more credibility. As it is with good spelling, grammar.....and I've heard punctuation.

Bah, my nemesis.... :~P

It makes you less hateable.

It makes it so no one wants to quietly kick your negativity off the site.

It makes others more likely to engage with you.

Essentially, balance is what going to keep you participating here.

TV commercial for Smiler. Cheezy yet nifty, very cool. I remember when Shockwave at Great America was a huge deal having 7 loops!
