Alton Tower's new coaster to make people sign a waiver????

I bet it's a drop followed by 13 inline rolls!

You're one SICK puppy Andy! If they do this, can they remame the coaster the "Protein Spill Express?"

Hey you cant doan inline roll, Disney's Coaster doesnt let you make those. Instead you'll get 10 vertical loops followed by a hairpin (non banked) turn followed by another 10 vertical loops and another hairpin turn, a launch section, 10 vertical loops and a hairpin turn, 15 corkscrews, hairpin, 15 corkscrews, hairpin 5 corkscrews and into the station break full steam for a jawbreaking stop.

In all seriousness though, I would not be surprised at all if this were a 13 inversion ride. The "biggest, fastest, tallest" race has run it's course, but the "most inversions" record has been standing for almost a decade.

I'm still waiting for a dueling woodie flyer.

The "most inversions on a woodie" has been standing for about a decade as well.

I'd be shocked for at least two reasons:

First, it's hard to get THAT many inversions on a ride without exceeeding Alton's uber-restrictive height limit. Second, since Thorpe is co-owned, they'd be taking the record from themselves (and Chimelong in China?).

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

I'll give you a third reason: with the exception of the "mystery piece of track" the other 99% of the ride is built, mostly outdoors, and well photographed on the internet. There isn't an invertion to be found on the ride. It's a family coaster.

^Beats the daylights out of my two reasons, LOL... ;)

Alton Towers - all of the beauty of BGW, and an actual castle to boot.

GWAR Demon? I quit listing to them about 10 years ago when I started laughing during inappropriate times, like the news when people die or kids get lost in the woods. GWAR is bad for you. lol

Gwar is good for you :) They put the news into a form I can understand and tolerate. Walmart, flash pass and trans fats - now those are things that are bad for you ;)

I wonder if this Alton Towers waiver thing is something that will be forgotten soon after the ride opens. Kinda like the nurse in the Crystal Beach Cyclone station or socks under Revolutions loop. Or re-rides in Demon's front seat with 7 pop caps. Weird, but fun marketing stuff. It's a lot less boring than most marketing scams.
