HULK. lol
I will probably never get out there to visit AT, but it is always interesting to read about new attractions that parks across the pond are building, because it could be a preview for what's to come here in the U.S.

^Or (more of what I was thinking) like the Tornado, the Intamin spinning coaster at Bakken in Denmark.
^Hey, I never thought I would get places. Still haven't been outta the US (does Niagra Falls, Canada count?). But come on, you never know. I really would like to ride coasters all over the world some day.
^I hear ya Touchdown (but don't get it). I think most people wouldn't think of coasters/parks when they think of distant countries. But as a bonafide (!) coaster geek from the get go, it's all I think about! If I want culture I can watch South Park or catch a Gwar show ;)
But really, when people mention different countries, the first think I think of is what coasters are there....
GWAR Demon? I quit listing to them about 10 years ago when I started laughing during inappropriate times, like the news when people die or kids get lost in the woods. GWAR is bad for you. lol
I like to watch foreign films to see what other cultures are like, but I really don't have in interest in foreign architecture or foreign mountains, so if I ever get out of the U.S., I'll go for the parks, because that's my interest. I believe that a tourest destination in another country wouldn't show me what intrigues me about other lands, and that is how other people live.
I have yet to get to all the U.S. parks that I want to visit.

Oh sorry, Touchdown...I think you were looking for this site:
...I'm sure it's a common misconception. :)

I still laugh at that stuff. LOL J/K This jumped out at me because my one friend goes to Gwar shows all the time.
I am all for cultural exploration, but isn't riding the coasters in a foreign country part of the culture too? LOL I would love to hit some of the stuff in Europe and Asia, would really really love to hit Alton Towers at some point in my life, but this new coaster honestly looks pretty wussy. I can't imagine how much people are going to be disappointed after they get into the hype. It'll be worse than TDK.

^^^^^ Since coasters are my main interest, I agree with the 2nd half of LostKause's post completely. This may be the first time that has ever happened. I hope it is not a sign of the apocalypse.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.
2010 total visits: SFMM-9, KBF-2
2010 total ride laps: 437
lol. MMAdict and LK agree on something. Suddenly, the earth beneath our feet crumbles, and a giant devil-creature, with a hot magma glow, climbs his way out from below. Just being in his presence drives mankind to do terrible things to each other, and everyone uncontrollably fights one another other in an all-out war. Their are a few who don't feel the urge to kill, and they are wisked away by Jesus himself in the blink of an eye, to be protected from the danger below.
In the end, the earth is destroyed, or maybe the devil looses and the earth is brought back to it's original state, or maybe something else. I don't really know what happens after that. It's kind of like a South Park episode mixed with the book of Revelations in the Bible. lol
Sorry for the story. I hope that someone found that at least slightly entertaining. ;)
