all the lucky ones-post here

It's always the poorly run stores/offices/businesses who have the oafs with the "not my job" attitude.

In my office, my boss usually runs around doing half of my clerical person's job and his boss gladly fills in for whoever's backed up doing the work I do.

Heck, I do some of my clerical worker's job too (routing and sorting files and records) if I see stuff that hasn't made its way to our desks yet.

I ghostwrite psych analyses for some of our $50 an hour consultants who skim them, agree with me and sign off on them. They aren't worried about me doing part of 'their job.'

As a result of our cooperative work, we blow every other office in our region off the map in productivity and last year outran every office in the US (there's at least one in every state)...you know, the ones full of dopes worried about what duties are beneath their dignity.

I've worked as a PC/Electronics Technician in retail for 3 years. I know how it works and so long, I'm getting ready to move on. It's a very stressful environment, and sometimes we're understaffed, but I'm not going to boycott the store just because of that. I like the people I work with, and you can bet your arse I'm going to support that store when I no longer work there. Case in point, you can beat the system. Target doesn't care if 1 person doesn't support them, they don't need your money.

On job duties;
As an automotive engineer, I once cleaned road kill off of one of our test tracks. Nothing is beneath me. Whatever it takes to get the job done.

On cost-cutting;
With recent head count reductions, I'm now doing stuff and getting paid three times what the person who was here before did. I think it's a rather wasteful use of expertise, but hey, it still pays the same!

sorry jeff, i dident know this was a spelling test, if you care so i much i will take allot more time and proof read all of my posts. Our duties included much typeing, includeing e-mails, ordering, and POS related duties. also i typed that when i woke up before class at 11, so i was in quite a hurry.

Imagine the want ad for that job:

Ability to communicate fluently in 'trailer trash' a huge, almost inestimable plus.

And on tomorrow's 'Jerry Springer'....the letter 'E' and people who love it just a little too much:

"I ain't yo babeee's dadeee!"

"Oehhh yeees you eeeeis!"

and POS related duties

I'm not even going there.

People, Talk about RCT2 not social classes and what retail managers should and should not do.

How is X. Can you control the way the seats move or are they just freely rotating.

X is ok. I believe you can control the rotation, but I haven't gotten into it enough yet to know for sure.

I'm having too much fun with all the Intamin toys (cable lifts for hypers, recreating Volcano:TBC, etc.)

Chris

your saying that only trailor trash shops at target? i find that odd then that target would build the largest store, in the richest country in the USA, yes, oakland county. The store on the weekend would gross 350,000$ per day, yes per day. I dont remeber any trailor trash ever buying from us. Also with masimo line, and phillip stark lines, they have some pretty sweet stuff, at decent prices(great for college students) but hahaha, i hate to go there, i dident leave on the best of terms...

but forget that, back ontopic... i find it odd that this version has higher requirements even though it uses pretty much the same game engine.

I'm not saying Target is a 'trailor' trash store at all....I was speaking specifically of the strange dialect you type in.

BTW it's 'Mossimo', Oakland County is a county not a country and it's hardly the richest in the nation. Gaaahhhh! Why am I correcting you? Where would I stop?

The X coaster does have chair rotation control. I've seen pics. Another pic I saw, that was dissappointing, showed the Intamin Giga build toolbox. The slopes aren't any steeper than what we're using in RCT1. LAME!! This will make Goliath/MF recreations suck because it will take a massive stretch of land to build a 300ft+ lift/drop...(no to mention the missing overbanked turns). What were they thinking not to put the necessary elements in to create the most popular coaster in the world.

Also read a post somewhere that the sounds are mostly different and much more realistic (distinctive wooden coaster clanks and arrow steel lift clanks). That sounds cool!!!

And of course I have yet to see any post or any pics of any kind dishing the dirt on the flat rides. Can't wait to play....keep the info coming, it's exciting.

Hey 'Playa, I think that dude has ridden too many Arrow loopers!
Heh, he hasn't been down Jefferson/Lake Shore Ave. in the 'Pointes... Freakin $3 million dollar houses (with only a $1 million view).

Uh, that would be because it uses a completely revamped game engine, with more and better frames of animation, larger parks, better peep A.I., etc, etc? More items mean more graphics which requires more memory. Better peep A.I. and better tracking of peep activites mean more CPU power and more memory needed. Did you stop to think before you posted the above?

What does the B&M coasters sound like? The real roar, or the cheap ripoff from the other game?

The "Multi-Dimensional" coasters are hard as "heck" to do. I need to play with the cable lift system for the Intamin's, too..it's weird.

Other than that, the game is rockin.

and as for djhush, please..abide by your name cause you're really pissing me off. I don't enjoy having to spellcheck a post myself just to make out what it says.

(remember, Jeff..you said I can speak my mind now :-) )

Is there still "research" in the game?

If so, someone should do this and only select one category, such as flat rides or coasters. Then they should just play the game out, and we can see what new stuff we have in the game.

Something interesting I noticed in the SFMM scenario:

X excitement level: 7.29

Flashback excitement level: 7.30

Are you seriouse about those X and Flashback ratings? That sucks! I don't have the new game, but I know in the old game the wooden twister coasters always had a much higher rating than a regular wooden coaster. They should do the same with X and Flashback.
