"Airtime"

Oh yea When I was on MF for the first time I sat in the back seat, and when we went over the crest, I was hovering off my seat all the way down the drop untill we started to level out, it was so amazing, I had my stumich in my throught the whole way down, another reason I love intamin.

Intamin has been given a lot of credit here, but one of their best has yet to be mentioned. California Screamin'

The bunny hills at the end are simply beautiful in regards to airtime. Several inches on those. This may seem strange to some, as the ride has OTSRs. All the better, since Disney doesn't care where your restraint is! Another fine point of air on that ride is the hill directly after the launch, if you sit in the front seat! Big air on that one. As only some coasters go, every seat is a good one on that ride.

Surely other So Cal enthusiasts enjoy this as well?

Another So Cal treat for airtime is Ghostrider. "The Drop." Enough said.

One more at Knott's is Xcelerator. Its not about the airtime exactly, but you sure can feel some powerful negative G's at work over the top hat.

Maybe better than Ghostrider or Xcelerator in regards to airtime is Perilous Plunge. I don't know how they did it, but this is ejector airtime at its finest. Unfortunetely, with the 4-point restraints, that air has been transferred to simple negative G's. In either case, there are some very strong forces at work!

The Beast, at night, Nothing better.

The Phoenix airtime can't be described. I always ride "no hands," and the Phoenix is one ride I actually feel scared to do this. At one point in time, my legs were flat across the lap bar. (These are buzz bars here people!) My feet not touching the floor, and my manly parts being crushed. Talk about insane. It's worth the trip to the boonies of PA just to ride it. By the way, I can say that because I live in those "boonies" too.

Jingle Bells. Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it'll be to ride Hulk at IOA!

besides any wooden air time, the best feeling air i ever felt was on NITRO, which, i feel has more air than Apollos Chariot. The most forceful air i have felt was on S:ROS at SFNE. that ride was just pure ejection,
I must agree that Nitro's up and down experience has the most sustained floater of any coaster that I've ridden. Superman though....had so much oomph.

Shivering Timbers still had adjustable restraints last year. Nice option!
